And the Audits Continue

Showing that she won't let up, even under the reign of our new mayor, Controller Chick has set her sites on the LAFD with an audit targeting the hiring, training and discipline procedures. The Board of Fire Commissioners also approved an audit of their own yesterday, targeting overall management concerns.

According to the Daily News:

Fire Chief Bamattre said he welcomed the Board of Fire Commissioners' audit but was "kind of surprised" by Chick's announcement of a separate audit.

"It looks like they're going to be overlapping, and I question whether it's going to be a good use of city funds," he said.

Well of course he'd attack Chicks audit and stick with his own. It's easier to sweep the dirt that way!
