Digital images of what Tut is supposed to "look" like have some African-American activists hot and bothered because they appear to portray Tut as white.
Their contention is that Tut should be a black skinned African man. This flies in the face of findings of three seperate teams of researchers who determined (from direct observation of Tut's corpse and CT scans) that Tut displays caucasoid, North African features and was most likely olive skinned like many residents of the region today.
The activists have protested before the LA County Board of Supervisors and plan protests at the LA County Museum of Art.
Look, who cares if Tut was white, black or green? Honestly, he was an insignificant figure in Egyptian history and more than anything gets more hype than he deserves. Egpytians come in many colors, so what difference does it make?
Do you think that if King Tut himself were here, he'd say "Can't we all just get along?"

Tut looks like one of the workers at the Governor's car wash event in Bakerfield.
More like Boy George.

IT looks like AV's latest squeeze.
The digital immages are wrong. Tut looked more like a skinny Dennis Zine
