Mayor Sam Keeps Moving On Up
The Sister City is nearing its 30,000th hit. It took from October 21 to the end of the year to 10,000. It only took from December 30th to about January 24 to go over 20,000. So in about ten days time, we've had another 10,000 hits. And according to Adbrite, we are now a four star site that averages 1000 hits a day.
Now we ain't CNN, Drudge or even LA Observed, but readership is going up and up and up. Thanks to all of you for your contributions!

Mayor Sam - whatever happened to Norris Poulson? He used to always battle you on the Fourth Floor.
1,000 hits a day.
That would be 25 bored city employees checking in 20 times a day; 10 anti-Villaraigosa wackos posting 10 times a day apiece; Meat and Meat-substitutes annoying the wackos(50 hits); Everyone on payroll for any of the campaigns 2 or 3 times (150 hits?); 5 real voters who are quickly disgusted and never return; and 195 people under the mistaken notion that Mayor Sam's "Sister City" might be salacious.

These two articles chronicle the story given by Fred Gaines ( a man never fined by the ethics commission) who says that DWP Commissioner and Hahn appointee (and mastermind of the Fleishman contract) Dominick Rubalcava was seeing hosting a fundraiser for Hahn -- a big No-No especially since this mayor signed the law making it illegal -- how ironic. But the real funny part is in the LA Times where it says perennial hack Kam Kuwata was cussing up a storm. Now come on Kam, we all know you like your sip of vodka here and there but being a dumb drunk and yelling obscenities to reporters doesn't help your client. I think lil Kam needs a nap, Kammy do you need a nap? Come on lil guy you want your ba-ba? ok lil guy take your nap.

Villaraigosa transportation plan -- a positive story about Antonio's plan while admitting there needs to be a funding stream attached, I think this shows the type of bold leadership this city needs so desperately needs. Someone willing to swing for the fences.

Now Hahn, does all this free press the other candidates are getting is your reelection strategy? I mean we all know Bill Carrick doesn't like to do "message of the day" because it detracts from his pay day in the paid media commercials, but there needs to be some strategy on the free media, oh wait, why would there be a strategy on free media when there isn't one for this city.

If you read one story today here it is, i love this one. Mainly because the employee was propped up by the Villaraigosa campaign and the ethics commission just in time for this campaign, i mean there has to be a conspiracy right guys?
I mean if you believe everything Wacko Nightlights says about how all these investigations turn up nothing and fizz away after the election, then well you have some more spinning to do. I think these were the documents not indictments Mayor Sam was hearing about on Tuesday. What’s great about Abrams and their massive fraud of senior citizens and their massive fraud of City election officials is the direct link this article makes between Abrams and Edwards. But of course nothing will come of this, accept an indictment – question is has anyone seen Abrams partner who can clear up all these allegations to prove the mayor is innocent -- oh yeah he FLED THE COUNTRY, how convenient.
Now I know why Kuwata was cussing up a storm, the mayor doesn't pay him enough to spin for the Gotti family.

CONGRATS on the milestone Mayor Sam. So much for Tony V.'s hired hackers saying recent topics have been bad for business (trying to take the heat off MEAT by saying "this is getting boring, can't we talk about something (read "someone") else?"
Are you saying that the illegal activities of Jim Hahn mean nothing? Are you dismissing what the Los Angeles Times and the Daily News are saying about Hahn's conduct at City Hall? Have you read the articles over the many months calling his leadership into question? The file on Jim Hahn continues to grow allowing the other camps to hit him hard before March 8. Are you a Hanh supporter SAC?
Congrats, Mayor Sam on the success of this site. We have certainly seen a great dialogue in the past few days and weeks. We can thank MEAT, SacramentoNighties and many others for that including the city hall staffers posting on government time (i ain't mad at ya).

Really??? If that's true, can you please post what date that came out in the LA Times. I'm sure that interested bloggers would love for you to provide some more detailed information regarding an endorsement of that magnitude.

I can't help you there because I live in the Valley. Nice try to deflect the mayor's failed leadership. We know something about failed leadership in the Valley and Mayor Hahn is the posterchild. Maybe you should ask Kam Kuwata for those articles. But he may tell you f&*@$ off like he did to the LA Times and Fred Gaines.

Interesting she's going before Council to have them approve her fraud unit but her sleazy antics of giving that memo to mayoral candidates may hurt her. She's using her office to openly campaign against Hahn. Dumb dumb move Laura. Take responsibility for signing off on those checks.
