F*ck Santa Clarita

SCV BusPardon our language, but The City of Beige is really starting to get under our nerves here at The Sister City.

Steve Lopez sums it up in a recent column in the LA Times quite well. A while back, we detailed plans by Santa Clarita to bus their homeless to Los Angeles. Lopez gives even more infuriating details than we originally had.

I'd like to find a church in Santa Clarita who believes its the good Lord's work to bring folks from the City of Angels to enjoy some time in the City of Beige. Who knows, they might like to shop at Bed, Bath and Beyond and have a cheeseburger at the Route 66 Cafe.

A round of applause to our public-safety-first, tough-on-crime mayor for his take charge attempt to keep the transients from around the Southland from being bused into Los Angeles. Kudos to you Mr. Mayor, thanks for nothing!

I doubt Jim Hahn even knows where Santa Clarita is.

Hey we're already F*cked only two roads in & out of here! But we do have L.A. for entertainment, you're really f*cked! Soon-to-be ex Mayor Poopy, Bobblehead Huggysberg, Bitter Bernie, AV & his skeletons & Alarcon, fire your makeup people, (who actually has some accomplishments & original ideas) but can't make up his mind if it's ok to transfer money from DWP. Yes I watched the "debate" I needed a laugh. Can't wait for the next episode of Who Bought the Mayor.
Cya gotta go raise money for buses for the homeless.

Don't worry about those roads! Don't bother coming to LA to work - its about time for a non-resident income tax.

Besides you have all those fun places like Bed, Bath and Beyond for entertainment.

Don't you get you people grow very tiring very fast. Don't Mess With LA.

BTW - did you know that Santa Clarita will not support non-profits who even if they serve SCV if they have HQs outside of the 661 or service commmunities outside of SCV? Ask some non-profits who came into to serve SCV, had locals steal their methods and then boot them out.

Non resident tax? Is this the Mayor? Must be 'cause all you want to do is raise taxes. How about eliminating some of the useless commissions you've created? Try cutting costs for a change. Or tax churches, what's with that exemption anyway? Sounds like a government subsidy to me.
What is it with you and Bed, Bath & Beyond? There's one close to you if you really want to go there. Check out their website.
As far as the rest of your ramblings I really can't understand you. Must have gone to LAUSD schools. But it's ok they're gonna have another bond to vote on soon.
Seriously the homeless problems need to be addressed in numerous ways- jobs, drug rehab, mental health treatment. Warehousing is not the answer.
And it's "Don't mess with Texas" not LA. Everybody messes with L.A. Grow a thick skin & get a sense of humor.

Ok now we'll have a homeless shelter in the SCV (http://www.the-signal.com/News/ViewStory.asp?storyID=5925), everybody happy?

How rude. Homeless people are a problem. Why are they the problem of where they land? For your fixation on Bed, Bath and Beyond (I believe you mean all the big box chains) they are located outside the city limits of SCV and as such don't contribute to the local economy. They taxes go to the county and the county has many homeless programs...in LA. So there you go, the taxes you want and the programs you want. Take Mohammed to the mountain, ship the bums to where they are better served by people trained and eager to assist them.
