Academia Semillas del Pueblo's missive on the status of Xoxolatl Cafe and "Anti-Mexican Agitators"

Such a great looking, non-license coffee shop
Academia Semillas del Pueblo Executive Director Marcos Aguilar's letter to the parents of the students regarding the status of the Xocolatl Coffeee Shop and Student Meal Program. read the letter and then link to our past stories on the related issues. We also post the LA County Health Department Webpage regarding the status of Xocolatl which contradicts statements in the letter. But remember it is "Anti-Mexican Agitators" who are the root of the problems at Academia Semillas del Pueblo.
"No Plans Submitted and No Public Health License"
"Was Costco Pizza "the snack" meant to help increase academic output?
Your thoughts ..............

Anti-Mexican? As a proud Mexican, I would say that the only anti-Mexican thing about this whole ordeal is operating a failing school full of Mexicans - after much promise and hoopla, these Mexican kids have not been adequately taught! Test scores do not lie. The other anti-Mexican thing here is the attempted boycott of Hecho En Mexico - can you get more anti-Mexican than that. Does Marcos think he is still in college were the most minimal of race baiting (or in this case, nationality baiting) can get the masses riled up? Invest in the proper education of these Mexican kids, then you can raise the anti-Mexican banner. As it is, your school is a prime example for those hateful anti-Mexican folk, and they do exist, to say we have failed.

Wow sounds to me like Semillas Administrators are threatening the parents "Semillas will seek any and all legal recourse" against those who attack the school so parents are not allowed to complain against the school!!! So far the liar is Mr Aguilar who lied to the parents making them believe Xokoltl was a legitimate business and authorized school cafeteria !!!! No one can blame the parents for using pseudonyms when complaining against the school.......I would too if I was being threatened with a lawsuit!!!! Maybe the parents can get a class's action lawsuit going against Semillas and LAUSD

Yes, the parents apparently are using false names as to protect themselves from tacit threats from the school. I've had a little experience with non too subtle demands for contributions or donations of property that was left to me by my mother in Highland Park.It is not muuch, but with such a fuss, you would think I had the crown jewels and the Taj Mahal. These non profit institutions like Seminillas do not appear to be very charitable; they only seem to have a lot of secrets, and as many receive taipayer dollars. Sometimes their tactics look like those of a bunch of community thugs! Some community benefit !
