-If you missed Saturday's contentious debate in Fresno between gubernatorial candidates Jerry Brown and Meg Whitman, Univision, a sponsor of the event, has some clips at their website.
Griffith Park Wayist questions Meg Whitman's state of mental health, as she continues to dig an ever deeper hole with the Latino community, from the housekeeper fiasco to her opposition to the DREAM Act and everything in between. In damage control mode, Meg has increased her ads targeted at Latinos by 50% since the "Nicky the Illegal Housekeeper" story broke earlier this week.
Doug McIntyre says about Meg, "Her "tough" stand is actually malleable, depending on which audience she's speaking to at the moment- tough on KFI, soft in East L.A."
That got me to thinking; is it possible that Jose Aguilar and David Hernandez could be all that's left of Meg's Latino support in Los Angeles?
The 3rd and final debate between the two candidates will be held on Oct 12th at Dominican University in Marin County.

As several commenters predicted yesterday BEFORE the debate, Joe would claim that Brown won; that Meg sucked; and numerous other things pro-liberal and anti-conservative.
Joe, when are you going to write about the SF Chronicle not endorsing Barbara Boxer and saying she "did not distinguish herself in 28 years of service."
I'd be glad to stop submitting this comment if you should care to respond or for that matter simply open the topic for discussion.

Its hard to figure how many Latinos support tough enforcement of immigration laws in CA but I will say just read the polling. 73% of Americans support Arizona and many Mexican Americans consider themselves "Americans.

I'm a left-of-center Independent, and I think Meg and her husband treated Niki ADMIRABLY with a salary that was TRIPLE THE MINIMUM WAGE.
Coupled with the fact that Niki gave them and the agency documents that she relied on for the truth, and I think the Whitman household did everything right.
I think what Niki did was criminal.
I think Phil is secretly asking for him with whatever issues he has with gambling.
In my book, when someone insists they are "ahead overall" in gambling for their life, they're either a professional, or they are hiding massive losses.
The fact that he SAID IN HIS OWN WORDS that he raised $200,000 for the Recall City Hall campaign, but cannot explain where it went is very worrisome to me.

The whole Gloria Allred engineered slur against Meg Whitman is beginning to come apart. There's rumors of complaints that Allred violated State Bar rules on pre-trial publicity, and an even bigger scandal about how Nicky Diaz has been paid off with a dream job in Mexico. Newspaper endorsement don't mean anything like the good old days before they all became tabloid trash. How many newspapers endorsed Chris Essel and with all her millions Krekorian whipped her ass in the polls with grass root people. What Alred did and how the illegal maid lied and committed felonies is pushing the issue forward and a lot of people are asking why Brown as a law enforcement elected hasn't said a word. That's enough for many to vote Whitman.
