Brown Pulling Away in Latest Poll

A new SurveyUSA poll has it Brown 47% to Whitman's 40%.  An Oct 15th Rasmussen poll had Brown with a 6 point advantage. The SurveyUSA poll also shows Sen Boxer with a slight lead over Carly Fiorina but essentially a dead heat.

Micahel,
Did you create your blog to repost a poll result? Give me a break. Bad enough your posting Council press releases. Where the inside scoop you used to bring to the blogosphere?

Is this "news"?

Seems to me that Joe B. ONLY quotes those polls that show results that HE likes! And he NEVER posts information that he doesn't like, such as the SF Chronicle not endorsing Boxer, saying that she "has not distinguished herself in 28 years in office."

Since Joe B. has been doing that for about a month now, I agree with the first commenter.

Odd, but Joe B. won't go on the record to predict any results. He's nervous. I'd gladly sacrifice California's positions for a nationwide sweep.

7:01,
I assure you, if a poll comes out in the next 13 days showing Meg in the lead, I will post it. Also, I'm just a blogger. I don't make election predictions.

It's over. No way in hell Meg can gain 8 points in 13 days.

Who cares about Meg; harping on it by the hour makes it seem like it's all you've got. Yeah, the only other thing looking up for the Dems is Boxer, but I sure wouldn't be crowing about it either way.

Then you're the only blogger who don't make predictions!

7:46, I think you nailed it.

When people are in a sinking ship, the tin full of crackers you have for the lifeboat tastes mighty good.

Meg will recover in the next week and win by a slim margin on November 2. There is no way Californians can live with a socialist governor for the next 4 years. Go Meg!

Meg has gotten stuck harping on the same "jobs" and boasting about how she has "focus" etc. from beginning of her campaign, no development. Then her flip flopping on illegals, starting to the right to get her party's nod then backtracking trying to buy back the Latinos with promise of jobs.

And NIcky was the nail in her coffin.

The one thing that I like in her message is getting lost: she opposes reducing the 2/3 majority it takes to pass bills in the Assembly while Brown supports reducing it to half like all the Democrats. That will just mean they'll quickly pass more taxes to balance their bungled budget.
