We had a large showing of District 2 Leadership at the Sunland- Tujunga Neighborhood Council Meeting last night. Our Local District Superintendent, Alma Pena
Sanchez, and Nury Martinez's Chief
of Staff were some of those in attendance.

Horray, it's about time the Admin at the LAUSD have to answer to the parents and quit running the school system like the gestapo. They have been sweeping problems under the carpet for way too long.
Isn't it ironic that the nation wide negative exposure has made "big wiggs" decided that it's time to become involved with the communities they are supposed to serve.
I saw that video and you would expect to see a school in the middle of an extremely blighted
lower class neighborhood, but that school is in a beautiful location. It doesn't make any sense that it was so neglected. There is no viable excuse for the violence in a school in that type of neighborhood.Schools in less fortunate communities are doing better and are higher achievers.
There needs to be a thorough investigation and admin heads should roll.
We all thank you for your dedication Lydia. Two thumbs up!
