Don't Throw Those Essel Mailers Away!

With the daily realization that Chris Essel's mailers are just going to keep coming and coming (7 in one day alone), many voters are very annoyed. Paul Krekorian has hatched a plan to recycle this forest of paper and use it for some good!

Paul Krekorian proves why he's the more fun, creative candidate who can actually connect with the people as opposed to the money sucking ice queen.

Check this out, I just got a call from a friend that received Chris's latest mailer. Now she is claiming that Paul took money from a Home Depot lobbyist and that he intends to
bulldoze the Verdugo Hills Golf Course and put in Luxury Homes. Chris's campaign is really operating in the sewer with this kind of daily crap. Knock it off Chris, the lies coming from you are repulsing people.

With Shallman and Essel and their thugs its going to be an ugly weekend. We need to give Team Krekorian as much support as possible.

Cute, tongue-in-cheek video - just hope no one does any fact-checking on it. Because of the lousy economy, no ones really buying scap paper to recycle anymore -- it's just sitting in warehouses down by the docks rotting away (L.A. Times ran a piece about that months ago).

The "kiddies" aren't going to get any presents from this campaign.

(What was is Read Splurt was complaining about a few weeks ago, that politicians always lie and say "it's for the children" - but it never is . . .?)

Essel - or Shallman - must think we're all just idiots.

Honestly, what response should they expect from bombarding the populace of CD2 with self-promoting bullshit day after day after day after day?

That's right: a backlash-vote for Krekorian from the undecideds!

Good job Shallman!

Good for Paul! Essel has shown her true colors in these latest mailers. I hope she gets wiped out on Tuesday.

Essel's latest round of mailers are downright despicable. They make Willie Horton look like a nursery rhyme. Horrendous... oh, and ultimately ineffective.

The Essel mailers are courtesy of
Shallman/Greuel/D`Arcy. Win at all costs. Lie, cheat, sell your soul, throw your friends under the bus, defame etc. They got a PhD in this course.

Should Essel buy enough votes to win she's going to have a very tough time in office. With something like 90% of the community leaders backing Paul Essel will have a super chilly reception. Combine that with re-hiring Wendy's staff and she will get nothing done of substance.

So everyone supporting Team Paul has to get out there and make sure all the people vote!

1:41 "shudder" to think of the possibility of her winning. We will get totally screwed. A sad day for CD2 if that happens.

90%? I dont think so. Paul has the more vocal angry ugly (on the inside) people backing him. Chris has the quiet behind the scenes dont rock the boat supporters. Esssel will win and all the angry people will become even angrier.

If Adeena Bleich is right in her current Jewish Journal article, "Special Election or Secret Election?" the vast majority don't know anything about this election, and mass mailers and random tv ads may be it. Shallman is good at getting that sort of casual voter by soundbite, false or not, saturating the mail and airwaves. But it's NOT just about money or even primarily so with low turnout.

As we've seen in recent elections, it's also not just about who's the best candidate but about whose supporters get out and VOTE in a small turnout election. For example, Paul's got the Young Dems, but while they're genuine and enthusiastic and make calls, they forget to get out and vote!

Wow! You guys seem really nervous about Paul's chances next Tuesday. The desperation is coming out of your pores. You're never suppose to let them see you sweat.

What about all the paper that will be wasted if the State of California has to pay to fill Paul's seat for the final 10 months of his term?

We can all save a lot of paper and just keep him where he is.

The Daily News just endorsed Paul at 6:30 tonight.

Said Essel raised $1.5 million to his 1/3 that, and most of hers was negative hit pieces on him - in true Shallman (slime) fashion. Whatever Paul can do to respond at this point is more than well-deserved. A shame Shallman has dragged seemingly every L A race into the gutter with him.

To those who made fun of this video, Rick Orlov in his column today says that the S-T group who made this shows a better understanding and use of New Media that either of the two official campaigns. Even he can be right once in a while.

And after all this is a YouTube video not something for citywide airtime.
