Sunland-Tujunga leaders speak about Paul Krekorian
Chris Essel may have over a Million $$ in donations from special interests, developers, and the IBEW, to run ads on CNN and KFI, but Paul has the support of the community. We all got together just yesterday and made this spot for him.

If you support Essel okay. But these guys - who I have disagreed with many times - have their stuff together and know what they are talking about. I would love for my community to be 10% as successful as their's is.
They absolutely believe that Chris Essel would be a huge negative for their community. No Kool-Aid.

Put the track records of the community leaders supporting Paul vs the few that are supporting Chris anytime. Far more performance.
Higby compare the losers endorsing Essel vs those backing Krekorian. The highest vote getting candidates backed Paul. The low end is supporting Chris.

Essel's goose is cooked. The only way she wins is by paying ACORN to turn out a bunch of illegals to vote for her.
Methinks that Phil could have been a big part of the MayorSam LA "kool kids" but he flubbed it big time with his right wing arrogance in the Walter Moore style.
Please make sure you vote in the CD2 election Tuesday. We have no right to complain about anything if we don't participate in the process.
For my part, I wholeheartedly support Paul Krekorian. His opponent, Chris Essel, has wasted more trees and cash on the endless, ridiculous flyers than anyone in the history of the City, so it doesn't take a genius to figure out that she's not exactly an environmentalist. IBEW - the DWP employees' union - has bought and paid for Ms. Essel, and they had the audacity to sue the City of Los Angeles for the right to donate even more of their members' funds to her campaign than is allowed by campaign ethics laws. They lost in court, thank goodness. I don't know about you, but my DWP bill is already sky high and I would like my council representative to vote on future rate hikes and tariffs relatively free and clear of the DWP and their union's desires.
At least I'm not like the S-T crowd.

Well, 6:46, it was made yesterday, on less than 24 hours notice. We had one camera, a few locals, some great locations. If you knew anything about modern technology, you would know that this kind of spot can be made for next to nothing. You just need volunteers.
Jennerjah is freaking out on his blog and posting old Chris Essel/Wendy Greuel commercial from before the Sept 22 primary! Joe B must have driven him over the edge!
I did not endorse in this race during the primary.
I liked Joe, Frank, and David but allowed the voters of CD 2 to choose. They put Chris and Paul in a runoff.
I originally had a very dim view of Tamar, Chris and Paul, but had never met any of them personally.
Now that I have seen them in action, I actually have come to like Tamar a lot, and have a much better opinion of Chris.
I am still unimpressed with Paul, but hey... if he wins , he wins.
But I'm not drinking the Kool Aid.

Sheer comedy. A preach to the choir video. Shallman should send this out to as many people as possible. If you don't live in that exact area, it will make you want to vote for the other candidate. They are not closing fire stations in the area and the city isn't bankrupt over park space.
8:59, Actually the fire station in Tujunga is closed several days per week, and Sunland-Tujunga has very little park space. There is a difference between open space and park space.

8:59 Actually one of our S-T Fire Station's turn for shut down was the Saturday of the Station Fire! We've been there, done that!
I'm proud to live in Sunland-Tujunga and I'm proud of our community members who don't just sit on their butts and let the world just happen to us. We are fighters. We aren't afraid to pitch in to make things happen and work for our community.

Thank you to the activists in Sunland-Tujunga for doing this! If only Shallman had them on his side. He's no genius. He can't do squat unless he has a candidate who can raise money. Then he bombards the district with mailers. That's not exactly genius. Genius is going to be Krekorian winning without having the money Essel has and I trust that the ST activists will get the word out.
