One More: Pete Sanchez Endorses Paul Krekorian

Paul Hatfield's blog is reporting that former CD2 primary candidate Pete Sanchez has endorsed Paul Krekorian for CD. Hatfield runs a statement from Sanchez where he says the following:

I am convinced that there is only one choice for those of us who would like to see a more responsive and accountable City Hall. I am supporting Paul Krekorian to be our next City Council Member and I hope you will join me in casting your vote for him.

In case you were keeping score that means that most of the local community leaders in CD2 are supporting Paul Krekorian as well as the top tier candidates from the CD2 primary.

Maybe money doesn't always buy elections.

441, you seem to want to change the parameter of measuring.

Phil was keeping track of how many of the also-ran candidates were endorsing Paul and Chris. Suddenly, as Paul started getting the endorsements that count (Tamar, Mary) Phil started getting quiet when the others' endorsements don't mean anything.

Just like Phil got suddenly quiet when his deadline to update us on the Recall Antonio signatures passed and he hasn't said a word about it in months.

This, while Phil remains mum on trashing that man on the NC without telling the other half of the story.

And this from a man who wants to run for Congress. Sorry but Phil has wasted enough peoples' time on this blog and it's time to start counting all of his screwups.

YES, HOW MANY OF THOSE SIGNATURES DO YOU HAVE PHIL? YOU MADE A BIG DEAL OF IT ON THIS BLOG FOR WEEKS, AND WE ARE MORE THAN SIX WEEKS PAST THE TIME WHEN YOU SAID YOU'D UPDATE US.

HOW
MANY
SIGNATURES
DO
YOU
HAVE
FOR
RECALLING
ANTONIO
VILLARAIGOSA?

You only need 240,000. You said you were "up for the job," and that you had an army of 2400 people who could each get 1,000 sigs.

So, Phil, how many of those volunteers do you have?

How many of those sigs do you have?

Not so pleasant when it's YOU who is being held to task. IS IT?

Council endorsements are more negative than positive, specially in CD2.

You don't know what your talking about.

Pete Sanchez is a well respected leader in Valley Village.

He would be a good endorsement for any one.

I observed P. Sanchez during the primary debates and I developed respect and admiration for his civic conciousness, knowledge of local issues and professionalism. Paul got my vote.

4:41PM. List the CMs who have endorsed Essel, and I will tell you why , one by one, is a dead load to the sinking vessel

Tony CardenAS'S endorsement doesn't mean anything.

Check out the crime stats in his council district. It's no wonder that the gang fighting responsibilities were ripped from him by Antonio. EVEN ANTONIO KNEW that CardenAS'S wasn't getting the job done.

Not yet but expect Frank Sheftel to peddle a story that Sanchez wears diapers or something like that.

Why would anyone want the City Councils endorsement. From what I heard they just kicked the Citizens of L.A. uncer the bus this morning regarding medical Marijuana. The State of Ca. does not allow for the selling of MM, however, Councilmembers want the word sell in the ordinance so it can be sold and they can tax it regardless of whether the State goes after the city or not! They cite West Holltywood who already does it but, but the council choose to overlook the fact that one of their community members is going to do 7 years in jail for doing just that! And our city council members on the Safety and Planning Committee are willing to take the chance that they won't get caught and want the city tax payers to pick up the tab when they do get sued by the State.
I won't vote for anyone they endorse. They are loose cannons and potential law breakers!
Krekorian only has one city council supporter? It means he's not welcome in their Rat Pack! Good for him, teriffic, I've decided he'll get my vote!!
