Fairness Disclosure: I am not supporting or opposing Tom Campbell in his run for Governor of California with this post.

I am simply letting voters know that he is running in the 2010 election for the office currently held by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Am I the only one who thinks Phil is a bit lonely?

The picture of him in front of the flag in his Sunday clothing, but nowhere else to go during the week, makes me think so.

"Police accuse head of anti-drug program of selling drugs at Starbucks
4:16 PM | June 12, 2009

Redondo Beach police have arrested the founder of a Marina del Rey drug and alcohol abuse prevention group on narcotics charges.

Kendall Craig Farris was arrested Thursday at 3:40 p.m. at a Starbucks in El Segundo after narcotics officers set up the drug buy over the phone. Farris, who arrived by taxi, was given an envelope containing $480 by an undercover officer in exchange for methamphetamine and ecstasy tablets, according to police.

The drugs turned out to be fake. He was arraigned Friday on charges of selling a substance he alleged was drugs.

Farris, according to his website, is the founder of the Over the Wall Foundation and a recovering alcoholic and addict.

His mission, he says, is "to help youth, schools and families prevent drug and alcohol abuse before it starts, and intervene in any drug abuse which may already have begun."

The photo was taken on Election Day, March 3 2009 , outside my polling place.

A few minutes later I went inside and voted for myself to be Mayor of Los Angeles.

So? You look lonely in it.

I wasn't asking about its origins. I suspect you are a lonely guy because you seem to have a lot of free time on your hands, and you appear to thrive on all of the negativity you get, even from Zuma Dogg, as he told you this week that you don't remotely understand him.

But what really made that impression for me is that you don't seem to recognize that you're not going to get a fraction of even 1% of the 240,000 signatures you'll need to even start a recall against Antonio.

Well, you won't even get a fraction of 1% of the 50,000 EXTRA sigs you'll need in case some of the 240,000 prove to be illegal.

Nobody could be that stupid without being a bit lonely.

Phil you are such a pathetic loser. as a previous poster said, how sad it is to come to city council in suit to give public comment, with no place to go after except maybe your gig as a birthday clown. just go away already

8:02,

I could not agree more.

But in the same way, it is amusing, if sad, to watch these guys waste their lives pursuing change via stupidity.

Phil, share with us how many people you have ENLISTED and collecting signatures. The clock is running.

How many signatures and sig collectors do you have now?

Try to recognize that the rush you got from seeimg your name in the newspaper is like cocaine; it is fleeting.

You are trying to impress someone. Maybe mommy. Maybe daddy. Maybe you have a high school reunion around the bend and need to show a measure of success, but coming in last place will not impress.

Goway.
Goway.
Please goway.

what i meant by your lonely appearance is when you were sitting in one of the rows in city council without another person within 5 rows.

around you were the other crackpots scattered around, and you had a sad, confused look on your face.

help is available to stop that rattling in your head. "Westside Republicans! Westside Republicans! I will call it a group and dress up in my big boys suit so people think that I'm a real politician but get zuma dogg to do all the legwork."

seek help

The Mayor’s dogs are rabid.

Recall Villaraigosa this Mayor is worthless. Two years ago he was spending his time with Mirthala, last year running around getting votes for Hillary. Now another affair, the man doesn’t has time do his job as a Mayor. RECALL.

I don't have to get a single signature.

If I'm lucky, over 3000 laid off City Employees will do all the signature gathering necessary for the recall to succeed.

(By the way, I did get over 800 signatures just for myself in order to run for Mayor.)

So what is the answer?

How many people do you have already lined up for sig gathering?

How do you intend to get in contact with those 3000 people?

Damn, when this blog become all about Phil? People left to go elsewhere because its a bit too much Phil stuff. If the city had the guts to audit all the gang programs properly not half ass the way Chick did they would find tons of corruption in them. all their directors drive $100,000 cars.

Jan Perry spends a fortune with bullshit crap in her district like naming streets after Nation of Islam losers and is saying city can't afford a parade. These assholes ride in the parade and yet ask anyone with the Laker organization and they can't stand the Mayor or city council members. ... We can’t afford to cover the costs,” Los Angeles City Councilwoman Jan Perry, whose district includes Staples Center, said this afternoon. “How could we make a decision about people’s jobs and then sponsor the parade?”
Shouldn't the Lakers and the NBA pay for that, she asked?
