David Benning runs for U.S. Congress
Brief clip from the dinner with Westside Republicans
on Wednesday, June 10, 2009.
This is the city: Los Angeles, California. I work here. I'm an ex-mayor. Los Angeles is a magnet for people from all over the world. Some of them run for public office. Inevitably some of them stray from the golden rule and rule for those that have the gold. That's when I go to work. My name is Yorty. I'm a dead pol.

Fairness Disclosure: I am not supporting or opposing David Benning in his run for Congress with this post.
I am simply letting voters know that he is running in the 2010 election for the seat currently held by Henry Waxman.

"Police accuse head of anti-drug program of selling drugs at Starbucks
4:16 PM | June 12, 2009
Redondo Beach police have arrested the founder of a Marina del Rey drug and alcohol abuse prevention group on narcotics charges.
Kendall Craig Farris was arrested Thursday at 3:40 p.m. at a Starbucks in El Segundo after narcotics officers set up the drug buy over the phone. Farris, who arrived by taxi, was given an envelope containing $480 by an undercover officer in exchange for methamphetamine and ecstasy tablets, according to police.
The drugs turned out to be fake. He was arraigned Friday on charges of selling a substance he alleged was drugs.
Farris, according to his website, is the founder of the Over the Wall Foundation and a recovering alcoholic and addict.
His mission, he says, is "to help youth, schools and families prevent drug and alcohol abuse before it starts, and intervene in any drug abuse which may already have begun."

The only attention will be on L.A. City Council over this. One guy (Eric) decides the word "loser" is illegal to say??? Good luck with that one. So now all I have to do is show up on Tuesday and Wednesday, have them deny my comment, and then do the filing.

What did Zuma Dogg do to get thrown out of council for two days? He always yells at the council. What made this time different?

So it's evident by Zuma's own words that he is just there to provoke and then file suit when he is tossed out on his tushie.
He is no different than Tennie Pierce. But Zuma is a hypocrite to complain about fraud by the cms when he is there to provoke and sue.
I'd like to know whether zuma has successfully received any money from his fraudulent claims.
If he did, why is he still homeless? If he didn't, it shows it doesn't work.
Zuma, you should go to Midnight Mission. The days are structured, which I don't think you can handle, but the food is hot and fresh.

10:05pm,
During an agenda item on the topic of "bankruptcy protection" where a $7 billion LOSS of pension money was noted, at the end of the speech, I said, "...I know I wouldn't have bankrupt the city, losers."
Garcetti immediately made his own decision without a vote by council or legal recommendation that I was banned from speaking (but not from attending) the next two meetings for "profane and slanderous" (whatever).
Unfortunately, to say, "losers" as I was walking away does not constitute what was alleged, so the trap has been set for Zuma Dogg to show up on Tuesday, turn in a card, have it denied, then I will have a real lawsuit that will be followed through on.
You can say I have said that before, but I have also never been "banned" (denied) my 1st Amendment right, and it's not a joke.
It's possible, they may simply let me speak anyway, cause although they make these statements, in reality, by the time the meeting starts on Tuesday, I'm sure they will be well aware that Garcetti's random exhortation has no legal merit and this is no time to be handing Zuma Dogg money out of the general fund.
AND, once I am denied,it becomes a much bigger story, perhaps, and it will all call attention to what was being discussed.
