But I don't want to make a big deal of it. And I want to be the first GAY SENATOR in CALIFORNIA, but only provided that we don't make an issue of the fact that I'M GAY! And I'm not even remotely interested in dramatically flip flopping on any issue or quintupling the parking rates. DEMOCRACY AT ITS BEST!

It seems like yesterday since he posted the fifth one. I can't believe a whole day has passed since one of those incredibly boring and long entries has posted. I sure hope it happens again really, really soon.

Why did Matt Down turn on ZD??
more namedropping from the flip flopper today in council, during closing remarks he mentioned this is the anniversary of RFK's getting shot at the Ambassador Hotel.
during which he Bill Rosendahl the first openly gay councilmember but don't tell anyone because I don't want to make a big deal out of it -- oh except join us for a rally today at Forever Cemetary to protest cuts in funding for HIV/ AIDS and my support has nothing to do with my being gay -- told us that he worked for a Senator then as a young man so he really, really was upset about JFK getting killed, and now he is somehow taking responsibility for turning the site into a school which is looking really, really cool.
OH NO the dufus is planning a run for SENATOR OF THE UNITED STATES, STOP HIM BEFORE IT GETS WORSE. He can't even deal with the homeless RV problem in Venice, just wants to drive them out of his district so he doesn't have to worry about them after promising to help the poor and work out a compromise between them and the residents.
But he wants permit parking which will upset visitors too, who will have even fewer places to park.
So what does he do, he meddles in OTHER PEOPLE's districts where he can make grandstanding noises without having to deal with the consequences of his meddling.
The Ambassador isn't even in his district and it's under LAUSD.
To Matt Dowd:
Curious to know why it took you years to figure out that the ridiculous grandstanding of ZD is not cool and is the result of serious character flaws.
If zuma dogg and phil didn't run for mayor, just MAYBE we'd have a different mayor: walter moore. The man who came in second.
But since phil decided in his idiot mind to attack all the others with those ridiculous "last word on" essays, we have to live with who won.
It is CHILDISH to do otherwise. If you didn't want him to be mayor, you should have tried harder.
