Former Mayor Sam Blogger Working for Obama White House?

We were contacted today and alerted that someone who once wrote for Mayor Sam was seen coming down the steps of Air Force One today after it landed in Long Beach.

We are not able to confirm yet who this individual may be but this is what we've been told:
  • The person still posts on Mayor Sam
  • The person has it in for Zuma Dogg
  • The person lost an election to the State Legislature
  • The person lost a Neighborhood Council election
Could it be?

Why can't you just say it is Jim Alger? I'm sure he will let us know what he is working on since he is Mr. Transparency.

Michael Trujillo on Air Force One! That's the best. I'm jealous. And so are you all.

He never lost a race though. Do you mean him personally or a campaign he ran? Regardless, rock on Trujillo.

That took some pretty good eyes because the plane landed away from the public in order to make a quick and safe transition to the helicopters.

This is such an embarrassing post to Higby that he should probably just remove it.

Isn't Alger something of a cripple?

NO LOSER, I said, "ONLY PERSON I KNOW OF WHO RAN FOR BOTH OF THOSE POSITIONS and lost IS Jim Alger. "

So I did not CLAIM, I guessed. But I tell you what else I did...

INVESTIGATE by following up with my inside-sources. So to the loser who says they saw alger get off air force one...HE DID NOT..however, perhaps someone saw him in the motorcade and jumped to conclusions.

But in my opinion, Jim will NOT be running for ANY office in the city of los angeles or state of california for a long time.

I think he's a little too busy living in the D.C. area, working for Barack Obama so he may not have time. Plus, it will be hard to establish local residency when you live in the D.C. area.

So looks like it's Englander as the new CM in CD 12.

Meanwhile, to the person who thought alger walked off air force one....

If you want to go fishing, just ask herb wesson. he'll take you on one of his "gang prevention" fishing trips.

Who said it was Alger, other than Zuma?

By the way did you know that Alger is NOT the only person who has written for Mayor Sam that has 1) Run and lost for the state legislature (and you noticed that I said legislature and not which house, nor even which state) 2) Been relieved of duty on a neighborhood council.

Y'all sure jump to some big conclusions! Guess you didn't read nor see the question mark.

If Alger is working for Obama - is that a bad thing?

I guess it depends on who you ask. :)

I think it's a great thing if true!

I am here to confirm as much as humanly possible without having a photo snapshot...but congratulations to Jim Alger. Zuma Dogg is as convinced as I can be, without being totally set up in a massive "fool Zuma Dogg scheme" that Jim Alger now lives in the D.C. area in his position working for Barack's administration. The guy is flying around (although not on air force one), is driving around in one of those Federal vehicles with all the space ship stuff on the roof...and he's getting paid well doing what he must love to be doing.

Seriously, I don't even know how he can be containing all the excitement?

There is NOTHING wrong with what he is doing, unless you simply feel someone should not be working for the Obama administration.

And he didn't get the job cause his family member gave it to him...he got it on his own.

For a guy in my circumstances, I can't even believe I am so happy for him! I mean common...think about it...we all know Jim...it's gotta be sirreal for him.

I can't imagine how anyone can spin this negative unless you are simply his political operative opponent? And to be honest, there ARE going to be people to seriously try and trip him up and out him. He's the new Jack Bauer!

Even Zuma had the sense to remove this unfounded post from his site except I have one question;

Zuma says "perhaps someone saw him (Alger) in the motorcade and jumped to conclusions." Isn't the conclusion the same?

And Higby, tell us more names that fit your description. We'd love to here them as you try to walk this gossip back.

11;26 It is impossible for me to explain how little I care about where Alger does or doesn't work. Besides, It looks like Alger himself denied the "story" so really, who cares?

March 19, 2009 11:31 AM

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Alger gets a job and suddenly ZD tuns into a puppy dog? Alger seems to have even denied getting the job but ZD doesn't want to be denied "access" so he changes on a dime.

IF, and that is a big IF Alger works where you say he does, he has gone out of his way for people not to notice, which is why Higby posted this on such thin information.

6:49 AM,

It's obvious you are nothing but a political operative or someone who is just really mean and hostile inside. Nice angle to criticize him over. You scored some points, I'm certain of it. How could this be true given his physical circumstance. But it is true. So how truly pathetic are you?

First of all, I don't think I tripped up Jim. If he is working there, he is working there and he is at public events. He's just trying to be as discrete as possible, but I don't think there is a secret to it, especially if I know about it.

And it's not whether I am a fan of Jim, or not...but the guy wasn't a city council politician, or anyone's realative...he was a basement blogger who is working for the Prez's office.

I AM thrilled about it. I don't know what else to say. I'll probably disagree with everything he is posting. But that doesn't mean I don't think it's totally triuphant.

I took the Air Force One post down, cause it was probably Marine One, anyway, and there is a difference between a main blog post that ends up on Google and my comments on this comment section.

And again, I don't think I was revealing any national secret. And I can't even imagine how there can be any use of the words "zuma dogg" regarding this matter. I mean, Jim's working for the Prez's office...i don't see how that ties into me? (See Jim, same shiznit!)

12:47 Wrong. Alger was disqualified after the NC election was challenged, and he lost the seat as a result of the way the challenge was handled. The complaint was inappropriate campaign tactics.

You guys are ruining this blog and making the Antonio people happy by sidelining his failure as a Mayor. Stop acting like immature crybabies and start posting intelligent dialogues to have a debate. You attack Zuma but he got over 9,000 VOTES PEOPLE. AT LEAST HE GOT UP OFF HIS ASS AND SPOKE OUT AND WASN'T AFRAID. What the hell are you losers who are attcking him doing in your community? I may not agree with how Zuma delivers his issues or the way he dresses but I will give him a lot of credit for being a MAN and standing up for principles he believes in unlike a lot of the juvenile, losers who personally attack him on here. What did you DO?

7:53 When a minor felony is from nearly 20 years ago is vacated by the Superior court and expunged, by definition you are not a convicted felon.

You can't be a pilot and be a Felon. Yet Alger is a pilot, so perhaps you have your facts screwed up.

7:53, what's a "minor felony."
A crime was still committed no matter how you look at it. Anyone from their teens up know right from wrong. Even if it's a teeny weeny felon, a person who commits it can't be trusted and doesn't deserve to hold a public office.
They should think of the consequences before the commit the crime!

Yes 7:53, I should have thought REALLY hard before I failed to check a box on my drivers license application.

I should have know that a little error made one afternoon would be blown up by an overzealous police officer with a personal grudge years later.

Or maybe I just trusted the justice system which eventually threw the whole nonsense out. But that isn't good enough for people like you. No, you blog anonymously that "people like me" shouldn't be trusted.

Get a life, a clue and learn what in the hell you are talking about before you open your pie hole. Oh, and while we're at it, grow a pair and quit hiding behind "anonymous" you coward.

Why are you even replying?

Obviously, it is not a problem with your new employer, so there's nothing there.

This situation is reminicent of rappers and athletes who make it out of the hood, then their old friends are jealous when they move upward and onward and think it is wrong that the person left the hood.

Keep complaining about Jim's past while he's getting paid and flying all over the country doing what he was doing out of his home, anyway.

Some people still just do not realize that when you attack on such a weak angle, it turns against you and ends up helping the other guy. Looks like Alger is about to get a big PR boost. Because 9:49 is bad strategy and it's no wonder they are not the ones working for PODUS.

BTW why is it getting lost that I already said I was NOT on Air Force One? Moreover why does anyone care where, or even if, I am working?

Surely you have more exciting things to blog about then my employment status?
