Zuma Dogg Says Artist Stabbed at Venice Beach; Calls for Action

From Zuma Dogg:

As you know, Zuma Dogg and Matt Dowd entered City Hall chambers over a Venice Beach ordinance that went into effect over three years ago.

The city continues to make changes that makes things worse. ZD and Matt have complained ON THE RECORD on TV 35 about the problems with the way they are operating the performers spaces.

IT ALL CAME TO A HEAD TODAY WHEN ONE OF THE PERFORMERS (SOMEONE WHO HAS ALSO APPEARED ON TV 35 TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE PROBLEMS)

WAS STABBED TODAY IN THAT PERFORMERS SPACE BY ANOTHER PERFORMER. ZUMA DOGG FEELS THIS IS A BY PRODUCT OF THEIR F*CKED UP POLICY THAT WE HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT.

And now our friend was stabbed today. He is in the hospital. A police helicopter is looking for the person who did it.

ZUMA DOGG HAS REQUESTED A MEETING WITH VILLARAIGOSA AND VENICE CM BILL ROSENDAHL.

Since I predicted the problem, experienced threats and was run off the beach, myself in the run of my life....

I HAVE THE SOLUTION...I WANT TO PRESENT IT TO CITY HALL...AND THEY CAN DO IT.

The problem: Villaraiogsa is nothing but a mafiosa thug, himself who has stabbed someone (i don't know if he killed the person with the knife, or just hospitalized them) - so I doubt he will be sensitive to an "all hell breaks loose stabbing scenarios at Venice Beach" cause we know the people who he runs with, the people who back him, the people who really make this city tick (the mafisoso types) and that they mayor is not stranger to a little knife stabbing to settle the score.

So that's why I want Bill Rosendahl at the meeting, too.

I hope someone returns one of the messages I left.

Because if there is no interest on this by the mayor, I need to start rabble-rousing about a recall campain, because we can't have a mafiosa mayor who stabs people himself run for governor.

And I don't even think he is legally eligible to be mayor based on the stabbing in his past and the record. Whether Gavin Newsom looks into it, or not, and it becomes something people care about is another thing.

BUT I WILL BE THERE TO FAN THE FLAMES ON A RECALL CAMPAIGN OVER THE STABBING-MAFIOSO MAYOR WHO HAS ALREADY DESTROYED THE CITY....

HE MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO ADVANCE!

Hope to hear from Doucheariogos's office shortly.

I'm calling media outlets as we speak.

i made a typo. the mayor's stabbing incident doesn't prevent him from being mayor, but it prevents him for holding a Federal position, like President of the United States or even a cabinet position.

Zuma dog is good peeps, and I appreciate what you're trying to accomplish, regardless of your TOTALLY LEGAL methodology and what anonymous people might snicker about it.

I recall campaign may start 90 days after being sworn in for a second term. People think an actual recall is unlikely. They say that if people didn't come out to vote against him, there won't be interest for a re-call. However, in the election, you have all the people that the Villar machine brought out to vote, and the blind dummies who just vote for the incumbant mayor, and people who just go along with him based on his name (some people vote along those types of lines, in all backgrounds)...

And the mayor is getting more unpopular by the minute, and if people knew how close it was going to be for a recall (within only 5%, and the gap could narrow on the 24th when the final 20% of the provisional ballots are counted) -- then maybe more people would have come out to vote against him.

AND, whether he is recalled, or not...it certainly won't look good while he is running for governor.

But let's be clear...ZD is not going to organize the recall campain. That can be for talk show hosts and other large organizations like Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association (not that they want to yet, but a group like that). And ZD would bring as much attention to it as possible. So I guess the mere mention of it already, is getting it started on my part. And YES, I HAVE already been contacted by people who want to start a Villarecall. And that's how I know about the 90 day rule and I have already been asked if I wanted to be the unofficial "spokesperson" based on my new, clean media image that I put out there during the election.

So we will see...

Ok the problem is police can't be everywhere 24/7. Hellooooo we've had gangs for generations and still are having drive bys and killings. A lot of us who put our necks out and speak out or criticize a politican are threatened all the time. The Mayor's staffers are the best at threatening anyone who dares speak out against him.

I have a bad feeling about this one.

Anyone who carries a weapon and stabs another person with it over who is in who's street performing place has serious problems. And they will have those problems whether or not there is an ordinance. That isn't the way you solve disputes over performance space.

My fear is that some who don't like the ordinance will use this tragedy to seek to abolish or amend the ordinance.

The ordinance may need to be changed, but to capitalize off this event ignores the real problem ... how many street performers have these violent tendencies?

5:57 and 3:14,

Here's my frustration: The Federal judge told the city they needed to have performer spaces throughout the ocean front walk, not just in one place. the problem is, it's PERFORMERS space. People with pianos, guitars, bass guitar (in the stabber's case) -- AND YOU CAN'T JUST HAVE THEM ALL RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER!

Remember the problems with "Machetti Boy" that I complained about. This is related to that. So the Federal judge said one thing, and the city went against that by substantially scaling back, and ZD and Matt have warned the city that this doesn't work in this situation.

I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND AND AM SYMPATHETIC TO THE FACT THAT NO MAYOR WILL PREVENT ALL CRIME FROM HAPPENING.

However, we saw this coming, warned about it, a judge said they needed more spaces throughout and it's the type of thing that wouldn't happen if you didn't force every musician to be in the exact same block.

And this is the problem with the city across the board. They continue to ban and restrict without offering options and alternatives.

The mayor better put down his gubenatorial campaigning for a minute and, "Stop, Hey there, what's that sound, everybody look what's going down."

Otherwise known as taking his head out of his advisor's ass and start acting like a responsible elected official in the United States of America. I don't care who he is rooting for in his personal life, but as mayor, he better start acting like a U.S. politician runnning a U.S. city! Capishe Ace Smith, you inferior minded loser!

NOW FIX THE F*CKING PROBLEM AT VENICE BEACH -- T-O-D-A-Y BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE GET STABBED OR KILLED!

NOW YOU ARE AWARE OF THE SITUATION AND YOU AIN'T TALKING YOUR ASS OUT OF THIS!

Now say, "what" again!

My email to Norm Kulla, Bill Rosendahl's 'man' on Venice

Dear Norm,

I have recently been on TV at City Council meetings warning of the impossible situation that performers have been placed in, trying to 'rotate' acts in a space, with no real authority present to regulate or manage such rotations.
Due to the City's failure to provide ample alternatives for musicians with the 2008 ordinance 42.15, my good friend has now been viciously stabbed in your performer Space, in a dispute over space in that big square.
Although the Court recommended and suggested alternate blocks for amplified music, all down the Boardwalk, the City went over and above that recommendation and removed 12 out of 17 blocks.

Now those musicians have been forced to congregate on these 'amplifier' blocks. However many former I zone VENDORS have now returned to the P zone and taken whatever other squares which should be for performers so the performers all have to share one big square, and sit out many hours in a day waiting for their turn.

one thing I learned from Michael Hunt, he went all the way back to 2004 already for his violations. so even if you fix it tomorrow, theres almost a whole year already of violation under Section 1983,
no ample alternative. when you regulate a free speech zone, you must provide that. I am part of a large group of Plaintiffs ready to file a complaint and motion for injunction.

I feel its too late now to avoid that, however the clock is still ticking on when you fix it.

Contact me or Michael Hunt immediately if you care about mitigating this at all.

Matt Dowd

If that's the way you are trying to convince the Mayor to meet with you it's obvious that you are less interested in making a change than you are drawing attention to yourself by running your mouth and insulting the Mayor.

Gosh, this may come as a shock to some of the unwashed bloggers here, but really guys, the criminals don't read the ordinances.

Violence occurs everywhere in our world when one perso wants what the other has.

No one wants an expansion of "performance space" becuase it annoys the citizens and taxpayers who live and walk there.

Take your stupid act somewhere else, ZD. No one cares. Really, no one gives a rat's ass for it.

Go get a real life.

Oh, it's the 11:23pm mindreader express. Things are "obvious" to them, even though they are full of shi....running my mouth and insulting the mayor and wanting to create change are not mutually exculsive. If doucetonio wants to create change and isn't just worried about his ego, he would have the meeting and fix it. is he not going to prevent more people from getting stabbed because Zuma Dogg is mean to him. You are a pussy of a coward and do not understand. Now go wipe the boo-hoo-hoo tears away from your eyes.

Douche can either meet with me and fix it, or not. And you better get over the way I say shit. IT ALWAYS BACKFIRES ON YOUR ASS. WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO REALIZE THAT.

So don't have a meeting, don't fix it, cause you have a mayor that wears elevator shoes, who's feelings got hurt by Zuma Dogg. You sicken me, you coward-heart.

AND NOW, I'm gonna turn it up a notch, you coward bitch.

WHEN ARE YOU GONNA LEARN? I WILL TEACH YOU...AND DOUCHETONIO WILL BE BEGGING YOU TO SIMPLY SHUT UP BECAUSE I GOT NOTHING TO LOSE, AND ANTONIO HAS EVERYTHING TO LOSE.

I AM GOING TO MAKE HIM LOSE IT.

Wait until I really start saying the stuff his THUG told me that he would come and find me over, if I ever went down that route.

I WANT EVERYONE IN ANTONIO'S OFFICE TO KNOW, WHEN YOU HEAR "ALL NEW MATERIAL ABOUT ANTONIO" BY ZUMA DOGG...and it will be VERY-VERY F*CKING UNCOMFORTABLE...

You can thank 11:23pm. And I mean that. Meanwhile, tell the mayor to stop worrying about the future of mexico and start worrying about the country he is paid to represent.

OH YEAH, city hall is gonna LOVE when ZD goes down the sancturary city/immigration road at city hall.

Antonio, put the knife down and start behaving like the mayor of a city in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. If you want to be President of Mexico, go move there and establish residency.

And either wear elevator shoes, or don't wear them. Every time I see the mayor he's a different height.

That's why he's in the mayor's office and you're living in a van outside of it.

Loser's loser. That's what you is.

that's right. but as an economist, i would suggest you grasp the concept of "supply and demand" and as statistician, I suggest you grasp the concept of diffusion.

IF THERE WERE THE PROPER AMOUNT OF SPACES, PERHAPS PEOPLE WOULDN'T BE STABBING EACH OTHER OVER THE SPACE.

Do you not grasp THAT concept?

if there were more doors open for the Who concert in Cincinatti, people wouldn't have stomped all over each other.

You must work for the city, because you are presenting crybaby, non-solution based, illogic. And I must admit, it's going to be a lot of fun to sit back and watch what is about to happen to Douchetonio and the city, now. LOL!

I'll try to be a little nicer to the mayor, next time. He deserves my respect. He has earned it. There is a lot that I can learn from the mayor regarding budget decisions and quality and productivity. He's a REAL dynamo. Bloomberg calls him for economic advice. Al Gore calls him for environmental inspiration. The people of Mexico call on him to hand over the city's general fund to anyone who is currently standing inside city limits. The middle class homeowners who support all of it call the mayor for a map out of town. The Arab Emirate Family of Dubai and Eli Broad call the mayor for tax breaks and subsidies. And Barack Obama calls Villaragiosa to keep his ass as far away from him as possible. And if anyone though Douchetonio had a shot at a cabinet appointment after he banged that news chick, IT WAS NEVER, EVER, EVER...EVER going to happen, BECAUSE of the news chick affair. Sad to say, but true. He set back the entire Mecha movement 15 years for a couple seconds of exstacy. Hope it was worth it Tony!

Villaraigosa did not want a cabinet appointment; he wants to be Governor.

Only a simpleton with no understanding of the art of politics would be stupid enough to write the trash that you write, complete with the usual attempts to demean by adding pejorative variations of people's names. All it does is demonstrate how lacking in knowledge you really are.

That's understandable; why Higby, who is sophisticated, allows it, is a mystery to most of us.

Antonio will be Govrnor because the Democratic Primary field will be full of white, Northern males. They all rely on the same donation and voter base.

Villaraigosa is the only Southerner in the race; the votes are here, in LA, Orange, San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino. Antonio will get most of them.

There's a whole generation of voters who do not know Jerry Brown, and a bunch of us from the old days who do remember Governor Moonbeam.

It wil only take somewhere between 30 and 35% to win the primary; round one to Antonio.

The Republicans have weak candidates, Meg Whitman, Steve Poizner, Tom Campbell, and maybe Carly Fiorina; round two to Antonio.

Can you say "Governor Villaraigosa" ?

11:22 - you're right about most of it including that toilet-mouthed mutt dogg uses pejoratives for real names because he's got nuthin' then is so thin-skinned and vengeful it's unbelievable that someone as smart as Higby allows him to rum amok. And he censors any comments about the madd mutt. But you're wrong that the OC will go for Antonio, and maybe not Riverside. Lots of southerners are more anti-illegal immigration than for him. That would make them anti-Newsome too, though he's claiming that as soon as he realized that juvie illegals were an exception to the law he "fixed it." B. S. but at least he knows where the votes are.

11:22 makes it sound as though the election is tomorrow and there are no legal battles that Villaragiosa will be tagged with between now and then that could put a quick and fast end to any further political aspirations. And it is not out of the question that he will be forced to step down from office. Final shoes have not dropped.
