82 Cent a Gallon Gas?

Bloomberg News reports that Merrill Lynch has forecast that the price of a barrel of oil, currently just under $44 could fall soon to $25 as a result of the global recession.

Already gas futures are trading under $1 a gallon. The gas calculator web site computes that $25 a barrel oil equates to about 82 cents a gallon for gas.

Bring it on!
