Unless you want to undo the other legal votes, such as that for president, it is time to suck it up, and accept the results.
The people were asked, and they answered. Writing about this a few times per day will only further divide people.
what happens when polygamy gets onto the ballet. doesn't that minority deserve the freedom to practise their ideology?
liberalism is a very slippery slope when fully engaged, and that's why democracy works, and very well. there's always the 'other' 50% of the people keeping the balance.

the biggest biggest irony of all....Rocky the big dummy Delgadillo came into chambers and protested the co-mingling on the Prop R term limit ethics ballot, but not because he cared about the mingling, it was because the term extension doesn't cover his job!!!

didn't this judge Pregerson pull my case in with Carol Sobel's to 'prevent duplication of work by the Court' ??? that's the reason given when the Court moved our case away from Judge Morrow.
so it really doesn't make sense to settle one case, oh wait wait, I get it, Hunt is black, an African selling African shea butter on Venice Beach.
2 judges already said he was good, but apparently Rocky's office says otherwise.

Oh please. Let me guess, the purpose of posting this is to show how bad mormons are and that makes Prop 8 what? Stop blaming the mormons. Why not blame God? Blame the bible? Winners win by being the best at what they do, not by knocking the competition down. Stop playing the blame game and get over it.
*sigh* The purpose of posting this is to point out the ironic hypocrisy of the Mormons spending so much time and money defining marriage for the rest of us. It's called a DIVERSION. And apparently it's working. But it's OK you guys. You know, the will of the voters and all that. Yeah, you're all absolutely right. Not. Actually, 52% voted to give the Mormons exactly what they want: more power. Thanks.
I didn't make the video or write the article about the Texas polygamists. Everyone seems to be be automatically reading the origins of this post as so-called 'reverse discrimination.' My response? Don't shoot the messenger.

Sarah, you have been writing about this story relentlessly since the election.
Everyone (so far) agrees that it's a tired subject, as the McCain-Palin, Obama-Biden stories.
The vote is over.
It was a raw deal.
Some are being blamed, while others aren't.
Done.
Frankly, I've been staying away from the blog because of all the whimpering by the anti-8 crowd on here. The election was last week, the voters made their decision.
End of discussion. It's time to move on to sniping at our incompetent city government officials, and work to elect more competent people willing to work for us, instead of creating new ways of taxing us into the grave.
The subject line says "You want the truth? You can't handle the truth." Here's some more truth L.A. County voters voted for:
Current L.A. County sales tax: 8.25%.
L.A. County sales tax will rise to 8.75%.
Our Governor wants to raise the State sales tax to 10%.
If this comes to pass, we'll soon be paying a 10.75% sales tax in L.A. County.
"I know not what course others may take, but as for me...," I plan to do my shopping in a different County!
Yeah OK, OK, I get it. Moving on now. I admit I'm taking this a little too personally but for someone who is LGBT AND a constitutonalist, it kind of is. Sorry, I'm also having a really tough week.
