Antonio and Toilets Again
But we've already seen that he doesn't mind discussing flatulence.
Monday the Mayor, Council President Eric Garcetti and DWP General Manager H. David "E WASTEWATER PLURIBUS" Nahai held a press conference inside a men's room in Century City to highlight a building project that has made extensive use of waterless urinals.
Officials claim that these waterless urinals have save over 39.5 million gallons of water annually. The DWP has a rebate program that can often cover most it not all of the cost of the installation of the toilets.
No word on if there is any different process to clean a waterless toilet as opposed to a conventional urinal.

Even though Doug McIntyre had a GREAT line about this: If Arnold is the Terminator, Villar is the Urinator! (LOL!)
But seriously, the point of the "waterless toilet" press conference is to raise awareness that the City and State is suffering from a serious water crisis, and everyone should do more to conserve water.
As mayor, the number one thing I will do regarding the water crisis is put an end to the density madness, because we do not have enough water for all of these projects. (A lot of sinks, toilets and showers....among other uses.)
So thank you to "The Urinator" for helping to remind us all why we need waterless toilets:

The mayor just allowed himself to become a permanent laughing stock over it.

If Mayor Eleven Percent is so enamored of waterless toilets, I'm sure that within a week I could build him a basic fully operational waterless toilet.
I would need a backhoe, some 4x4's, a bunch of 2x4's, some 1x8's, tar paper, a bucket of cold asphalt, and some 4-inch diameter 3-foot sections of pipe with connectors.
The pricetag would be for materials and labor - no EIR would be filed, as it would be located upon his theoretically owned private property.
I forgot to include in my needed materials that I would need a couple of loads of granite gravel.

How embarrassing!! This Mayor is a clown. Dumb ass Ace Smith really thinks its going to be a smooth ride. Hey, Walter the Mayor can't take credit for Bratton and is trying to say HE is the one that is expanding LAPD. NOT TRUE NOT TRUE. In fact the Mayor is the one who VOTED NO 4 years ago when then Mayor Hahn wanted to expand LAPD. All it needed was one vote to place on a city ballot 1/2 cent sales tax and that moron said NO along with Zine and Smith.
....Ace Smith, who is managing Villaraigosa's campaign, said they are still developing their strategy but are planning for a full effort.
"What we plan to talk about is how the mayor has laid a foundation for the future," Smith said. "Our campaign is going to be focused on getting everyone in Los Angeles involved in what we have to do for the next four years.
"We think the mayor has done a lot of work on making the city safer by expanding the Police Department, started to make changes in education and has been working to improve traffic. We need to keep moving ahead and we have to get our message out."
Heather, I somewhat agree with you. In my opinion, Mayor Eleven Percent is a not-so-funny clown starring in a Zero Ring Circus.
McIntyre talked about how the media is shortchanging Walter Moore right now.
He recognizes that the other candidates are just gadflies, not legitimate candidates.
