Folks, I know it looks hip to vote for Barack Obama. I know George Bush sucks. I know the economy is all screwed up because of Bush. None of which is a good reason to vote for the Democrats.
Some have said to me, the Democrats can turn the economy around, they did it when Clinton did. But Barack Obama is not Bill Clinton. He's not FDR.
At the same time John McCain is not George Bush. He comes from the opposite wing of the party and has always been on the outs with the Bushies.
This race is not a repeat of Bill Clinton vs. George H.W. Bush in 1992. If you're looking for a return to the halcyon years of the Clintons, you lost that chance when you shot down Hillary.
Obama is Carter. Or worse.
He's just too dangerous when it comes to our national security and economy.

On July 2, 2008, Barack Obama announced: "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
Obama's Civilian National Security Force:
* What sort of people would be in this paramilitary force?
* What sort of weapons would they have?
* Who would command them?
* Would they be subordinate to the U.S. military?
* Would they be subordinate to the police?
* What would be the purpose of this paramilitary force?
* What would it do?
And, what are Obama's "national security objectives?"
Michelle Obama lifts back the curtain hiding Barack's plans for a new order:

Wow...I had no idea until Michelle Obama told me that I was univolved and uninformed.
Did anyone else notice how the Obama camp unleashed Michelle when McCain got his Palin bounce, but reigned her in again when Obama re-claimed the lead?
Obama's camp knows how Michelle is received by the majority of Americans ....Negative. Angry. Ungrateful.
there's the old John McCain and the new one. As many Repbulicans and others have lamented, he has changed.
There was the old John McCain, the maverick, who spoke his mind freely with the media. And there's today's McCain who reads his carefully scripted remarks and who limits his informal time with the media.
There's the old McCain who ran against Bush years ago, and there's today's McCain who has populated his inner circle with Bush advisors and strategists.
There's the old McCain who railed against special interests, and the John McCain campaign that employs 177 powerful lobbyists.
John McCain has become that which he used to criticize. He knows that the maverick approach, speaking his mind, and sticking to his principles isn't going to get him elected president. So he has gone to the dark side. And don't you know that if elected, he'll stay there because that's the way to ensure reelection.
I pray that McCain nails Obama on his associations with domestic terrorist William Ayers in the debate tonight.
If Bill Clinton for the "first Black U.S. President" then Obama will be the first "Black Jimmah Carter" -- a "backlash" knee-jerk response to an unpopular president that ends up being more deadly to American well-being than the last guy.

Authorities at the Urban Community Leadership Academy in Kansas City, Missouri took action after a video of the pupils, who are thought to be aged 14 and 15, emerged on YouTube.
The video, which was titled "Obama Youth – Junior Fraternity Regiment", has since been removed, but copies have been re-posted.
It shows 10 teenage boys marching into a classroom, making gestures with their arms and reciting "alpha, omega".
After coming to a halt, each in turn shouts a personal mantra associating their personal goals with Mr Obama.
The first says: "Because of Obama, I aspire to be the next doctor"; the next, "Because of Obama, I aspire to be the next lawyer".
Each then shouts Mr Obama's campaign slogan: "Yes we can", before carrying out a drill combining the recital of slogans and aggressive physical gestures. The boys then each recite a different benefit of Mr Obama's healthcare plan.
Joyce McGautha, the school's superintendent, told US media that the school did not approve of the video. She said that the teacher, who has not been named in anticipation of legal action, was suspended, and that further drill activities were stopped.
YouTube viewers were quick to criticise Mr Obama's campaign for the video's content, and to compare it to 20th century political youth movements.
One wrote: "This should scare the hell out of any freedom loving American. The Democrats, their accomplices in the media and the schools, are producing the next generation of Hitler Youth. Welcome to the People's Socialist Republic of America."
The video's emergence comes soon after that of Sing for Change, a clip in which 22 children between 5 and 12 were seen singing a song praising the Democratic presidential candidate. Critics said it was improper to make children support politicians
The Ayers thing is interesting and important but most Americans and certainly liberals don't understand it.
What McCain needs to do is to hit Obama on his tax plans and expose the lies the Democrats have been peddling about the tax plan.
Especially since most of what Obama purports to be a tax cut is actually including people who have no income. They don't pay taxes.
The truth is that just about everyone who reads this blog except for Don Quixote will see some increase in taxes.
So THIS is the America Michelle Obama can be "proud of", one where we are re-educated in the Obama gulag. She is truly disgusting.

McCain needs to confront Obama on his proposed "give aways" -- that is, should he be elected. Obama wants to "reduce capital gains taxes on small businesses." Small businesses do not pay capital gains, they pay income taxes. He refers to the "social security trust fund." (I know lots of folks do!) But the democrats killed that and merged our Social Security monies into the General Fund. (Maybe that is where the Los Angeles Mayor and City Council learned their stuff!) California spends $11B annually for the care and schooling of illegal immigrants; how will Obama address that issue? There will be NO TAX CUT for the majority of folks who work for a living; Obama is concerned for the poor and they receive "EARNED INCOME CREDIT" checks each year because they pay no taxes. Those of us who pay taxes are the (involuntary)contributors to the EICs. This is better known as the Dems' REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH. Now the question is: DO YOU FEEL WEALTHY?
If Obama is elected does that mean Zuma Dogg gets an earned income tax credit? Woo hoo! PayPal Love!

The only comparible to 1992 should be the potential for a large number of first time voters to make an impact.
It's what Obama preys upon, voters who have yet to cast a ballot in a Presidential election and, therefore, yet to have been disappointed by whom their vote helped elect.
