Is it just Haikula, or does the guy in the cartoon to the right look like Los Angeles City Councilman Richard Alarcón? If so, it makes you wonder if the man in the cartoon tried, like Alarcon tried, to re-zone his fiance's property without telling anyone, and then withdrawing the effort after being caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
