So I accidentally deleted a post the other day because I was trying to edit it...and I guess blogger is quite difficult for someone who hasn't blogged in...ages. Its even quite confounding how to write a link in HTML anymore. I understand how to now, but I had to look up the formula, practice a bit and then I got it. Maybe it is true that as you age, you lose your memory?
Anyways AOL has this clickable electoral map and I was playing with it for a few seconds and realized that the Red and Blue States are pretty much default but the states that can impact the election are Ohio, Pennsylvania and Minnesota. It will be interesting what color they turn on Election Day.

One place you might want to check out is FiveThirtyEight.com. They combine the findings of many of the survey firms.
Pennsylvania and Minnesota are considered SAFE Obama states because he has leads there of 9.7% and 7.9%.
Ohio is much closer with Obama showing a 2% lead which makes it a toss up.
None of the surveys show McCain with anywhere near the number of electoral votes needed to get elected.

Unfortunately Blogger has no recovery method for accidentally deleted posts but you may wish to check Google's cache on the post but I think it's too early for that.
