She truly will be America's Iron Lady. I could say a lot; let her words speak for themselves. Still, it's pretty cool that McCain actually picked who I said he should pick over a year ago. I'm not itiching to slam McCain/Palin or Obama/Biden, but I am itching to slam Valley Dull and Higby for their endless posts about said presidential candidates. Who really gives a shit about either of their personal opinions?
How many readers are over at Valley Dulls personal blog to read her opinions? Maybe her abuelita cares about Valley Dulls opinion, but I guarantee nobody in L.A. gives a shit about Valley Dulls opinion about Obama, and the same can be said about Higby.
Just look at how many reader comments are being made, the only comments are by Higby, Red Spot, the blow hard Don Q and Valley Dull herself.
Was it a good idea to have the baby in that loud room? Couldn't they find a babysitter? Seems kind of an inappropriate environment for a baby. And did her husband have to be holding him as he stood up and clapped? Is the baby merely a political prop? Sickening. Did she write that speech? I think they should have showed it to her first, before they sent her out there to read it off the teleprompter. That way it wouldn't have sounded so canned and mechanical and as if someone else had written it.
Of the three days (actually 2) of the Convention...has ANYONE mentioned how they're going to fix the economy or what they're going to do?
All I see/hear is bashing of Obama/liberals/community organizers....

All they have to do is continue the tax cuts, cut the capital gains tax and stop interfering in both business and people's lives. You will be surprised what happens when folks are left to their own devices.
But I guess if you want to give every thing to every one and would have like to have seen that at the convention as a fix at the convention you won't.
And for the record I pay about 1200.00 for insurance and was against the tax rebates.

Alaskans are saying there's major baggage that will come out. How can a mother of a pregnant daughter who blamed the media for attacking put them on stage with the boyfriend? No morals, ethics or class. She came off like a real Bitch of a woman. Her speech was empty.

8.19 am. And to which people are you referring to. It seem that Ms Palin did a good job talking to the people. Maybe not the folks you talk to everyday, but certainly to a lot of the folks that I've met over the past many years.

It is telling how many of us who live in big cities like LA don't understand the folks in the heartland.
A friend of mine told me back when Nixon won his landslide election in 1972 that his aunt, who lived in Manhattan, remarked "I can't believe Nixon won - I don't know a single person who voted for him."
it's funny how people are seduced by media hype. few people seem to ask the important questions of this candidate. many women seem to think that any woman in this position is great but read the fine print. people can tell you any thing to get your vote. you must look deeper towards the truth. can she admit she's wrong. will she listen, will she care, that remains to be seen.
