Anti-Palin Rumors Reach Bizarre Level

Democratic and Obama supporting bloggers sought to slime Vice Presidential candidate Governor Sarah Palin and her family with conflicting conspiracy theories and trash. Apparently the Obama-bin-Bidenites can't decide if Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy with Trig to cover for Bristol or if Bristol is faking her current pregnancy to cover up for the last one or if Bristol is faking her pregnancy because really Mom is pregnant.  Wow.  My head hurts after all that! The Obama-bin-Bidenites probably need to adjust their tin foil hats.   The only thing that seems sure is that the pro-Obama folks' politics of personal destruction have energized Palin's supporters and turned off others.

In the meantime, claims of a "scandal" revolving around claims that Governor Palin sought to have fired an Alaska State Trooper who was formerly married to her sister seem to be falling apart.  Details have emerged than an extensive investigation of Trooper Mike Wooten was conducted PRIOR to Palin's election as Governor and that an Alaska State Trooper supervisor suspended Wooten and warned he could be fired.

And contrary to claims that Palin was seeking to fire Wooten , documents show that during a reported domestic incident between Wooten and Palin's sister (again prior to Palin running for Governor), Palin was reluctant to call police considering there had been no physical violence and Palin was concerned about the impact of the incident on Wooten's career as a Tropper.

Wooten has been accused of tasering his 11 year old son, allegedly abusing state gas and credit cards and having racist attitudes towards Native Alaskans.  Though some officials of the Palin Administration had approached Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan about Wooten, it was apparently tied to concern about Wooten from Palin's security detail and that Palin was not immediately notified of these discussions.

What also isn't being reported is that Palin wanted to move Monegan from the Pubic Safety Commissioner post (for issues of performance in certan areas) to heading up the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, an area Monegan reportedly has expertise in.  Monegan refused the transfer and given that the Public Safety Commissioner is a political appointment, Palin was well within her rights to make a personnel change, much in the same way that Monegan's replacement was terminated due to an alleged incident of sexual harrassment. Additionally reports are that the complaints about the firing of Monegan were allegedly brought forward by Andrew Halcro, one of Palin's gubernatorial election opponents.

Forget the rumors, at a meeting yesterday a lot of women have an issue with Palin the mother of a 4 month old down syndrome baby putting her career before the needs of her child and family. She went back to work ony 3 days after the baby was born. This shows a lack of character and selfishness on her part. She also has a 3 yr old and no doubt she will be away from home a lot.

That doesn't bother me so much 7:37 when you compare it to what we have here in LA:

Midget Mayor who bangs a TV reporter, lies about his wedding ring, wife living in one house, he's living in another, 18 year old son getting drunk in college, in the closet gay cousin paying off primary opponents, all good fodder for the next telenovela.

There's nobody liberals hate more than someone from a protected group who refuses to be a victim and who wildly succeeds without their help. Just ask Clarence Thomas and Michael Steele. Sarah Palin is the real thing and they hate her for it. I also smell more than a whiff of fear in their droppings.

It really messes up their dogma, that Republicans are the party of old, whit, rich guys. They are petulant now to have been shown up by McCain and the Republicans. Sure, Democrats talk the talk, but Republicans walk the walk. And that just ticks them off that we can say that.

They dumped on THEIR female candidate and gave Obama just enough cover to win the nomination. Now Palin has not only taken away their meme, but she has even pushed Obama completely off their front pages for the last few days. Bummer, eh?

I wonder if the Palins' watch Desperate Housewives? Remember the episode where Bree pretends she's pregnant while her daughter has the baby??? It was hilarious!

I think the reason I love Sarah is because she's a cross between Tina Fey on SNL, and Bree Walker on Desperate Housewives!

All in all, she is refreshing and definitely a CHANGE for Washington! I'm tired of politics as usual!

GO... SARAH, GO!!!!

Sarah is in way over her head and should have been honest with the McCain people in the first place about all these skeletons in her closet.

I'm not trying to become the vice-president of the United States.

When you enter public life, especially elected public life, and especially the highest level of national politics, the public has certain expectations of you, and you have a responsibility to be honest with the public.

11:43, neither are 5:39am, 6:27am, 7:37am, or 4:15pm trying to become Vice President. My statement about throwing rocks stands... does it sound familiar?

If not, I'll refresh your memory:

Ahh, but Wooten ONLY got a five-day suspension, so Palin (and Palin) kept up the heat, then fired Monegan when he wouldn't fire Wooten.

Nice try.
