joe why don't you show the whole clip from your camera's perspective? wouldn't it show how obnoxious you were in instigating this reaction from the home depot guy? how would you have reacted?
Joe, your obsession with this thing is making you obnoxious but you don't know it. You're exactly like those westsider homeowner association board members/ self-proclaimed leaders who want zero development as the only acceptable option, and refuse to actually negotiate, so they are doing the people they claim to represent a huge disservice, because they're essentially cut out of the process. (Like Mike Eveloff's angry article in City Watch, blasting council candidate Robin Witter-Simon for not taking his view.) You've gotta chill, Joe.

8:17 you believe everyone who raises a question works for home depot. the video speaks for itself. joe posted it, it certainly looks like he was doing something to start a fight. if there is nothing to hide then post the images. i'm sure it shows him extremely close and up in the exec's grill.
OMG, the horror, the violence, the extreme madness of this encounter speaks for itself. I hope Joe B is ok, did Joe B go to the emergency room after that violent attack? Is Joe still in the hospital recovering from this attack. The problem will be the emotional scars and possible PTSD which will remain even after the physical wounds begin to heal.
I hope Joe B seeks legal counsel and sues the realtor for damages. How long has Joe B been out of work? Let's all pray that Joe B can someday recover from this attack.
Isn't it considered at least kind of rude to bring a camera to a dispute mediation meeting?
Cameras are illegal in polling places. The reason is that they can be intimidating and instrusive.
Why did Joe need a photo of this guy so badly?
If I were trying to incite a confrontation, I'd bring a camera, even if the battery was dead, stick in the guy's face and make sure I had a friend recording the whole thing on a camcorder.

I agree with 2:29. Anyone touching someone else in a hostile manner can be charged with assault.
The clip that I have posted is taken from the Fox News broadcast. It is the entire clip that they aired of the incident. To 7:24am- please note the Fox logo, this was not my camera.

Joe, I hope I'm being duped and "guzzling kool-aid", but your pattern of aggressive behavior is clear, and is very sad. Far too often the abuser blames the victim or claims they are the one's being abused. The abuser takes no responsibility, and are in denial. This video, "shoved" - please.

IMO - The DRP is really not an unbiased mediator. It's just another organization looking for permanent city funding. They are ineffective and if they don't get results, they won't get any further funding. Their purpose is only to have more meetings until they get the answer THEY want.
We had a meeting.
HD supporters didn't show in any significant numbers. DRP thinks it's because of intimidation. I think they just don't have much support in S-T. Why continue this charade? Have HD do a full EIR and we go from there. Is there anything complicated about that?
Now - let's get going.
I don't know who this person Stu is but it is obvious he doesn't know Joe. I think Stu is an employee of Home Depot and is trying to start trouble by saying things about Joe that is NOT true. Stu you are pathetic.
Joe and the whole NHDC are some of the nicest people around. Stu, you sound like someone that is either on Home Depot's payroll, or is just a terribly misguided individual.
Point would be why Jeff pushed Joe, maybe the anger of the permit being pulled. Also why the city is even worried about the law suit since Home Depot lied about the application for the permit. I have been building on my property for the last 8 years, I have pulled 9 permits as of today, if I was to pull a permit that was not what I was building, they would pull my permit and then could tell me to rip down the structure and fine me 2 time the permit cost. Home Depot lied, permit involved, you know that signature you have to put on the application stating all info is truthful. 10 million dollar law suit closed, Home Depot packing their bags and down the road they go.
