How Palin is playing in the midwest (from Politico.com)

Let me re-emphasize that I disagree with virtually every Sarah Palin position. Sad that I feel the need to do this before I provide any clear, helpful information here.

Here's an article from Politico on how the middle of the country (those who "cling to guns & religion") is responding to Sarah Palin. That comment is going to echo throughout the campaign, and will be written in history books if Obama loses. Even if true, it should never have been said, because it will be a rallying cry for those who it offends.

The only way to stop the McCain-Palin express is to get Mayor Villaraigosa to endorse them.

Look who's talking, Mr. Anonymous.

And yup, that comment will stay right up there with "Your no Jack Kennedy" and "Ready my lips..." especially if Obama loses.

Why do Haikula and Valley Dull feel the need to respond to every reader comment made on this blog?

Is it a woman thing?

Obama could have easily won by a landslide if he had chosen little Tony V as his running mate. About the only thing Obama accomplished during his community organizer days, according to his own words, was getting some landlords to fix some toilets. With Tony on the ticket, they could have campaigned as the team that will repair your toilets and then clean them for you.

You don't have a name because you're a white trash Republican eating every day off a Democratic taco truck. You don't have a name because you found that unlike that enterprising Latino in the taco truck, you didn't quite have enough money or guts to start your own business, not even to use your own name at a website. You're too ashamed that your white billionaire boys club political party has to pander to fundies in its final hours of desperation, and you're hoping for a little more cash to trickle down to you, so you can get your own Republican life in a tract in Westlake Village underway. At least own some of your own shame as an anonymous piece of Republican white trash.

The answer is that Haikula and VD both trained under Dave Elliott, aka ZD.

That piece of refuse also posted and answered every single other post, usually with a long, shouting (using capital letters) tirade as to what particular kind of loser the poster happened to be at that moment. Of course, he never saw the irony in that; kindof like your own mother calling you a S.O.B.

By the way, has anyone noticed that since Mayor Sam blew the jerk off the rating has gone to number 5? I usually try to thank him for giving Elliott the gate, but haven't done so lately, so "Thanks again, Mayor Sam".

Now do the same with VD and you can move up even further. Any woman that doesn't recognize the incredible worth of Governor Palin really needs to re-examine her own privste parts.

Why thank you! That's what I've been saying all along. But I also try to post balanced pieces when "bad" articles come out, too. I think Sarah Palin is remarkable, even though I disagree with most of her positions. I think she is a forced that the Dems will have to reckon with. And I think it was a huge mistake for Obama to not select Clinton; the race would be over now and we'd have no idea who Palin is if Obama did that.

There is a checks & balance system that will keep Palin reigned in. If McCain wins, she will have four or eight years to show what she's got, otherwise, she'll be bumped in 2012 or 2016.

Anyone else see the irony of Obama asking Hillary Clinton to take on Sarah Palin??

Hello, anyone notice, Hillary is NOT on the ticket.

OK, Obama brain trust, now that your asses are grass, here's a little tip for you; how to win the election in one fell swoop.

Just get Joe Biden to step down, stating he has decided that Hillary would make a much better Vice President than he. Obama appoints her (and she graciously accepts for the good of the nation)and the Dems win.

Biden is SecState AG or SecDef or whatever else he wants.

And, I get that bitch off my ass for eight years.

Why do I have to do all the thinking around here???

Hi 9:51am,

You are SUCH dingleberry.

Read my posts about Sarah Palin; I think McCain picking her is BEYOND BRILLIANT.

And, unlike you, I am sophisticated enough to appreciate a GREAT move even though I disagree with the person's policies.

When you graduate the first grade and learn how to read, post here again.

One more thing: F You. Just for you, I'll post a few more things.
