LINKS: Convention TV Ratings and the Top 7 Myths, Lies and Untruths About Sarah Palin

Disclaimer: Haikula disagrees with virtually every Sarah Palin position. But I think she does represent the feelings of a lot of people. Obviously not Valley Doll, or others with coastal sensibilities.

But her doubters would be better off if they focus on the truths about her, rather than putting out hyperbolic myths, lies and untruths.

Who's following up on the tabloid story that Srah had an affair with her husband's business partner--see this week's National Enquirer.
I would have thought that Mayor Sam could have scooped the NE since it picked Sarah so long ago as the running mate.

The MSM is furious; they haven't laid a finger on her as yet.

All they can do is criticize her as a mother because she is doing it all and not staying home to mother her kids.

The Fem-Libs are a bunch of hypocrites (yes, VD, that includes you)

This is a woman to be admired and her virtues extolled. A true role model for young women everywhere.

As a father for three women, (and a grandfather of five more girls) I can tell you that they all admire her immensely, and so does the real part of America.

I say she loses the "Sarah Baracuda" moniker and takes on another one when she is elected Vice President of the United States of America; "Sarah America".

Sarah Palin's views are not in the mainstream. I vehemently support her right to hold those views, but they are harmful and just plain dumb.

And nobody is fooled by her spinning her teenager's pregnancy into a celebration of life. Palin and her kind are at the head of the line pitching venom at poor families and families of color who have pregnant teenagers.

The real trouble with most Liberals is that they are convinced that they are on a mission from God, and that the opposite vieww has no logic or meaning.

I am a conservative who believes in choice, but I understand the pro-life position and for me, it is a hard decision.

Personally, I oppose abortion, and if one of my daughters experienced an unwanted pregnancy, I would urge them to give birth and love and raise the child, but I would still respect their choice to not do so.

When you can provide a good, loving home for the child, it makes it easier to have this position, I know, but it is still my position.

On the other hand, if I were to counsel a crack addict or a poor woman with no way to support and raise a child, I don't think I would urge her to have the child. But, if she wanted to do so anyway, then I would urge her to seek an adoptive parent to give the child a chance for a good life.

Kids who start off without any decent home life have really impossible odds of reaching a place where they can live a good lfe themselves. It is a shame, but a fact of life.
