Tell Me Something Good!
I hate gettin' all Rufus & Chaka Khan on ya, and without getting into the specifics of what Haikula was doing out at a ridiculously early hour with some friends, it's high-time to report that there was a "major street thingie danger outage at 4:30am whosie-what" going on.
For all of the H. Waterwaster Nahickie-Rockefeller, and the other idiots who run this city (into the ground), my friend Frankie say, Relax. That's because there are great peeps who respond to dangerous situations at very weird hours.
Click on the photo to see employees of the DWP, LAPD, and Parking Enforcement at work at 4:30am on a Sunday.

And a haiku for you:
You work f*cked up hours.
Danger is part of the job.
Thank you very much.

Hey, someone just sent this to me. Why aren't we speaking out on this idiot? Can someone tell me what does Jimmy Blackman do and what's his title besides sleazebag of city hall. Didn't Leland Wong just get convicted for doing exactly this type of stuff? YES
Nothing wrong with taking favors from people who want favors
...."Manny fever: Mayor Villaraigosa's deputy chief of staff, Jimmy Blackman, sat in the owner's box on the field level at Sunday's game." That allegation, reprinted in its entirety, appears on LA Observed today, raising questions about a mayoral staffer taking such a valuable gift from someone like Dodgers owner Frank McCourt who does business with City Hall. Dodger tickets became an issue during Mayor Jim "pay-for-play" Hahn's administration but he and his staff were clean. The tickets were paid for by the people who used them.

Thanks, Valley Doll.
Do you see what we mean? We put up something a bit provocative, and there's tons of comments & crit (of which we welcome all).
Now, when we put up something saying someone did something great, we get nothing.
PROOF that Higby is right. These dum dums only respond to dog crap. Or the truth. The dum dums respond to that, too.
Lovin' it. Stay tuned for more dog crap.

Haiku, that's old "news" from days ago, even Red Spoot or someone mentioned it and couldn't milk it. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz You people never try slinging mud at the walls and hoping something sticks, though.

459, what are you talking about?
This entry is about my seeing something in a neighborhood I was in. It wasn't about news or anything that anyone else saw.
It was 4:30am. What are you trying to say?

Okay, I'll admit it. We are all wondering why you were out at 4:30 AM, so you may as well spill.
Shelby York said:
Not until 459 explains what he means. This is not a "news" story by any means. It was inconsequential. I was just reporting on these departments' responsiveness.
So 459 should respond, or we'll consider this entry closed.
