Did that 18 year plan include all the gang (bloods) paraphenalia on his kid when he was killed?

A good dad would have a 25 year plan - right up through med school - and be aware of their childs gang affiliatons.

Yes it was tragic that he was killed, and I hope his killer fries - such is gang life in L.A. - but what's more tragic is making him out to be a saint or angel by blaming all Mexicans. The truth always comes out.

Dumbass. A good dad is one who is lovingly and attentively involved in his child's life, plan or no plan. Your insinuation that Mr. Shaw wasn't a good dad because he didn't have a "25 year plan" is riduculous. That he had any plan at all is commendable.

Yes it was tragic that he was killed, and I hope his killer fries - such is gang life in L.A. - but what's more tragic is making him out to be a saint or angel by blaming all Mexicans. The truth always comes out.

No one here is making Jas out to be a Saint nor an Angel. He was simply a good kid who was killed by a gang member. A kid, who by all accounts, was not banging, no matter what the hell he was wearing.

Again, look up the word "frontin". Sometimes a kid has to in order just to have ANY friends or for that matter, protection, in his neighborhood. You automatically have gang affiliation if you're living in their territory. Whether you want to or not.

And who the fuck is blaming "all mexicans"? Dumbass. Do you think my ditzy brown ass would be here if this was strictly a "Let's Get All The Brown People!" issue?

Pendejo.

Valley Dool,

Maybe Jamiel's dad would have been an even better dad if he got his kid out of that neighborhood nad perhaps into the "valley" where your snooty ass lives. WOuldn't that be the perfect dad the one that got his kid out of a dangerous neighborhood so he wouldn't have to "front".

And just so you are aware, the LAPD doesn't diferentiate between "fronting" and "real" gangbangers.

But this case is the spotlight you crave to dump on all Mexicans.

The only ones "blamed" are the illegal gangbangers, not all "Mexicans"- some of the gangbangers are from OTHER countries, so include them for some blame.

2:30am, "This all the fault of the gavachos and the republicans. We need to spend all the feria in the varrios so the undocumented from Mexico get a good education and plenty of free social programs."
Is this some "planted" statement to rile up opponents of illegal immigration? if not, it's an oversimplistic and illogical assessment.

I blame that criminal element, not all "Mexicans."

A Mexican-American view.

Uhhhh, (oh hell, I'm starting to sound like Lil 'Tonio) you don't think there aren't gangs in the Valley, too? Menso... I'm from SAN FERNANDO... ever hear of that little group called the San Fers? Or the Asian Bad Boys? They're all here, and then some. So don't even go there. Snooty, my ass.

WOuldn't that be the perfect dad the one that got his kid out of a dangerous neighborhood so he wouldn't have to "front".

See snoooty retort above.

And just so you are aware, the LAPD doesn't diferentiate between "fronting" and "real" gangbangers.

Which is why the officer on the stand said "just because someone says they're in a gang doesn't mean they are."

But this case is the spotlight you crave to dump on all Mexicans.

You aren't going to win this one, baboso. My grandmother and mother were born in Guadalajara. My grandfather was the editor of a newspaper in Chiapas. They came here legally, and didn't speak a lick of english. However, my grandmother insisted my mother learn english, and she did -- in a year, and spoke it fluently, without a hint of accent, and took her citizenship test and passed with flying colors as a little girl.

My father's family is from Mexico, too, and also came here legally. We can trace our family's roots in San Fernando back nearly 100 years. My dad was born in San Fernando along with his other 9 brothers and sisters, and I can tell you the illegals (of every nationality) piss him off, too.

And they piss off my Tia Margarita, my Tia Maria, my Tia Natividad, my Tios Wecho, Filo, Ben, and David.

So homeboy, please ... don't even assume to speak for Mexicans or Mexican-Americans. We can think and speak for ourselves, thanks.

The 8 illegal gangmember/drug dealing felons that Gavin Newsom and his generous city of San Francisco sent to live in a boarding house in San Bernardino (from which they just walked away, unsupervised) were from Honduras.

The city routinely paid police dept. "escorts" to fly with alleged juveniles (they never checked age, so these guys could have been much older) to fly with the felons back to Honduras -- from where, they could and did just come right back into the U.S. again, without even having a record! This was clearly done to openly defy our immigration laws AND felony laws, so it's aiding and abetting an illegal felon, multiple counts.

If Jerry Brown really wants to earn respect for his Governor run, he should prosecute Gavin and his accomplices but I doubt he will.

Shows that Newsom would be a hundred times worse than our Mayor, who isn't openly defying ICE, and Bratton is committed to working WITH them, just not doing their work for them in ID'ing illegals. Seems to me, that without admitting it, the LAPD and city have gotten a lot tougher on gangs.

With all the bashing of Bratton and SO 40, let's remember that it is DA Cooley's job to prosecute felons and ID the illegal ones, and to work with Baca's Sheriff's office to come up with a county-wide list of them. Instead, they took Espinoza's word that he was born in the U.S., how unbelievable is that.

If we tax homeowners for Janice Hahn's Hug-a-Thug program, controlled by herself and Cardenas, who admitted with Reggie-size croc tears in Council that he couldn't control the gangs on his own street enough so his son could go outside -- all our gang problems would be solved.

If we got more thugs writing poetry, we'd solve the gang problem quickly and cheaply, far faster and cheaper than incarcerating our youth (because once they come here illegally or are born to uneducated illegal parents, they become "our youth).

Putting them in jail instead of poetry programs is cruel and unusual punishment -- also, they should all be issued cell phones so their business doesn't suffer totally while they're being unfairly discriminated against in jail.

The problem isn't the gangs, it's the cops, and Janice understand that, so she's been trying to get the most aggressive anti-gang cops off her streets, so they stop harassing people trying to make a decent living selling drugs.

If only those greedy and selfish old ladies worrying about paying their water and power bills and trash fees, and wondering if their homes will still have equity, would get with the program. In fact they should get their useless old behinds out of the house to teach poetry to the thugs, and see that they're really nice kids who just need a caring, helping hand.

San Francisco had the right idea, that punishing illegal juvie gangbangers dealing drugs and killing people was counter-productive, since they should be given more money for programs and jobs. Not dead end jobs, but uplifting ones, as poetry teachers in the schools, to "give back" to others. If we tried that, our gang problems would be solved and school literacy increased.

CALIFORNIA'S ILLEGAL ALIEN CONTROL INITIATIVE
CALIFORNIA TAXPAYER PROTECTION ACT
BORDER CONTROL BY STOPPING THE MAGNETS

The initiative REQUIRES the illegal alien birth mother to appear in person, pay an additional fee, submit full identity, photographs and fingerprints; all of which is transmitted to Immigration, Customs and Enforcement.

ENDS illegal aliens use of all public funded benefits including pre-natal and non-

emergency medical care. Pre-natal commenced for illegal aliens in 1988 when California

had a teenage birth rate below the national average. Five years later it was twice the

national average and the highest of any state.

TERMINATES all welfare checks that are now direct deposited into illegal aliens bank

accounts for the anchor babies. Many of these checks become remittances that are sent

out of the U.S. The Department of Health and Human Services confirmed the state can

require identification of all applicants to stop issuance of taxpayer funds to illegal aliens.

The California Legislature allows issuance of this benefit to illegal aliens for 18 years.

Citizens can only receive the benefit for five years. Between 1988-1995 this welfare

program quadrupled and continues to spiral out of control.

Regular California birth certificates, and all public benefits issued to only those who are

citizens and permanent legal residents with verified ID proving lawful status.

This initiative will only be on the JUNE 2010 ballot with your help. PLEASE CONTRIBUTE on-line now.

With your support to Taxpayer Revolution we can launch the legal movement to end the unconstitutional policy of automatic U.S. citizenship. Please mail donations and self-addressed stamped envelopes for petitions to:
