Noone From The City of LA

One of our readers posted that no one (or is it noone?) from our local City government reads Mayor Sam or even knows about us.

I guess that's why after home users (which could be anyone including city officials) for the current period, the City of LA is the #3 source of visitors to Mayor Sam.

Who is this Noone guy anyway?

I guess Noone is very busy reading this all day by himself. You know, the guy who thinks it's racist to want to deport illegal gangbangers.

He seems to have a lot of support lately from the Times -- three articles in the last two days, about how corrupt and incompetent the cops are. Yeah, they screwed up bad in both cases, first 'getting creative" with their report fudging time it took to find the drugs on a known gang perp; another time, idiotically falsely giving a girl's name as witness to "scare straight" some gangbanger, as though he were a fixable kid, not a vicious killer already.

BUT way these stories are twisted to be anti-cop, and are generating cop-hating comments, is f'ed up.

Reason both sets of cops did this dumb stuff, is they're fed up with seeing known gangbangers/ drug dealers, illegal and otherwise (all hispanic immigrants though) get out for "lack of solid evidence."

But now the Times is playing up these gangbangers as innocent victims. The Times has always been adamently pro-SO40 and anti-Jamiel's law, but except for Tim Rutten and the lefties, pro- LAPD and Bratton. Now, what's their gig? Pandering to illegals' hatred of cops AND immigration laws, too?

If this is what Zell's cuts mean, biased stuff spewing from the Times/Hoy newbies, let it just shutter totally, so someone can come into town and open a real paper.

Christ almight, Higby! You run a typed word entity and don't have a few seconds to check online to see whether "noone" is a word?

What is happening at Mayor Sam today? I love you guys, but you're getting jobbed on LA POLITICS today!

7:28 is one of those almight folks that just don't get it nor more importantly pay attention.

Read the blog a bit and then come back and tell me about noone.

Dumb ass.

Yes, I DO get it. While you're busy responding to that tongue-in-cheek comment, you failed to post any number of other more interesting stories that are directly relevant to what you claim this blog is supposed to be about!

Go ahead and explain how Villaraigosa's rejection of the notion that he's running for Governor is not as relevant as my pointing out that "noone" isn't a word.

Can't wait to hear you explain that one.

Blogger Michael Higby said:

Villaraigosa saying he's not running for governor is about as relevant as the 4:20 bus coming on time (actually the latter is more newsworthy).

By the way dumb ass Villaraigosa didn't reject that's he running for the governor. Once again he said the same thing he has been saying. He loves his current job. He won't categorically say he will not run. He even said "I did that once before and I'm not doing it again."

Next?

Yes, why do you think my comment about "noone" is more relevant than writing about the OTHER major stories of the day, such as the cellphone-leading-to-405-wrongway-chase?

Or the other story link?

You know what they call that? Punching down. Being a bully. Not the first time you've been accused of that.

Since we're at a standstill, you can finish your sandwich, and I'll leave you alone.

Hillary Clinton can run for President, Antonio Villaraigosa can run for Governor. The Backstreet Boys can try putting tickets on sale for a concert at Dodger's Stadium in '08...who cares? These people are now yesterday's news. They are CDs in an iPod era. Buh-bye Douchearaigosa.

Here's what happened this week when ZD was at the grocery store in Santa Monica:

10 year old kid: Are you Zuma Dogg?

ZD: Huh...huh...huh...WHY would you aks me that when I am wearing a Zuma Dogg shirt? Can't you tell?

10 year old kids mom strolls over: We watch you on TV.

ZD: Really? Where?

Kid: the Court TV.

ZD: (Thanks mom and kid for watching and for paying attention.)

I think some folks on the wrong side of the rope have a problem when 10 year old kids and they mom's are recognizing ZD in Santa Monica grocery stores.

EVEN WORSE: Someone comes over to ZD inside chambers today during the Council meeting and says, "Someone wants to take a picture with you."

I say, "Where?" And they point over near Jan Perry's area. I say, "Where?" again.

This time they say, "She's with Jan Perry." (Jan's no ZD fan, safe to say.)

But I see two teenage girls standing behind Jan's chair, and as I walk up, I hear Jan saying, "Oh no. No, no, no, no, no."

Then the person says to me, "Oh, they changed their mind."

SO NOW: Instead of the girls saying, "Wow, Jan is so cool. She got ZD to come over an take a picture with me" -- the kid will be saying, "Jan wouldn't let me take a picture with Zuma Dogg."

But the point is: L-M-F-A-O!!!

Poor Jan has to sit there and listen to me slam her projects all day long, then have her own visitor aks to take a picture with me.

HA!
HA, HA, HA...
HA, HA, HA, HA-HA!!!

(What's HUGER than HUGE?)

AND REMEMBER PEOPLE: When you are going through the check point at City Hall, it is not the LAPD officer's job to keep tabs on whether Zuma Dogg is going to be there today. But from what they tell me, people are always asking them, "Is Zuma Dogg going to be here today."

Yes Virginia, Zuma Dogg is going to be here today.

And sorry for calling Janice Hahn a "nutty ditzbag" on Doug McIntyre's KABC morning show this morning. I woke up, turned on the radio, heard Doug talking about that nutty ditzbag and it made me cranky and have to call in. (My bad!)

Cute photos Michael. Interesting city staffers lurking on here to read what we're posting. Glad LA Times going to lay off 250 people. Its become a shit rag and those stories on LAPD sucked big time just to get more people to read. Its a piece of shit rag and don't pay for it.

Michael can you pull the Sacramento Bee story on Villaraigosa's fundraisers? I tried and couldn't seem to get at it. Oh and call Daily News and tell the Mecha moron Caroline Garcia tha we're in American and we speak English. I see a lawsuit with her stupidity sending e-mails and signing off like this.

It would take all of a front page and more to list the many accomplishments, talents and energy she's brought to the newspaper in the 12 years she's been here. Melissa has led the newspaper through tough times and she's been a mentor, friend and ally to many of you. She has been an advisor and friend to me.
---------------------------------
Please join me in congratulating Melissa on her move. I plan on restructuring the management of the newsroom, moving away from the more traditional model we’ve had in place here. If you have any ideas, suggestions, swing by.

Gracias,
Carolina Garcia

dummy, i was walking down a grocery store aisle when the kid recognized me, and the kid was obviously with his parent (mom) at the time.

But besides that, for you to say, "stay away from kids" obviously means you are fooled by my character's persona. So you are kinda like a kid, yourself. (Did you know that WWF isn't real wrestling?)

Jealous loser says,"...brags all over his blog ."

Did I "brag all over my blog" or make a one sentence mention of it. Yes, I admit, I mentioned that I called him and that he was nice enough to entertain my questions.

Next time I'll leave it to the reader to try and guess the context of the exchange.

Meanwhile, do you think it will help or hurt Jackass when I am blasting the urgency to elect someone else -- as opposed to urging people to vote for Jackass.

(Yeah, you'll say my endorsement will hurt a candidate. KEEP SPINNING!)

And where does it say Zine aksed anyone to give me phone time. I SAID, Zine told me that "I" should get to know Nuch, because he is running for City Attorney against Jackass." He didn't tell Nuch to talk to me, you dummy!?!?!

SO YOU EVEN GOT THAT WRONG!!! ARE YOU CAPABLE OF COMPREHENDING ANYTHING YOU READ???

But excuse me for picking up the phone and calling someone who is running for City Attorney before I form an opinion.

I could have called the guy and gotten a bad vibe -- or feel he was a joke -- or felt he was shady -- or had no confidence in him. Then I wouldn't have said anything, yet.

BUT IT TURNS OUT, I LIKED THE CONVERSATION, AND I LIKED NUCH BASED ON THE CONVERSATION...

AND I WANT HIM TO BE CITY ATTORNEY, INSTEAD OF JACK WEISS NOW THAT I DID A LITTLE MORE RESEARCH.

My bad. (I wish the city was as transparent as you are, inferior-loser.)

Higby.

"Visits" and posted comments are not the same thing. Period.

You intentionally and dishonestly misstated the argument in order to make a point, and still bungled it. You have NO stats on who POSTS comments here, and never will have . . . just on who LOOKS at the site.

The bashing yesterday had to do with one of your paranoid kissing-cousin staffers saying the third floor was behind a little flurry of anti-Red Snot, Zuma Bitch, and Mayor Sam spin posted in comments.

(It always been your patented dodge to avoid addressing the point raised by your detractors, anyway, because none of your cut-and-pasters could debate their way out of a ziplock sandwich bag that had been left out in the sun for a week and tramped on by a stampede of cattle).

Blaming the third floor -- where I have NEVER been, except to cross the bridge for public meetings -- is YOUR straw man, and a mighty weak one at that.

And, many of the same posters who bash your teammates' ignorance and illiteracy ALSO bash Tony V, often in the same comment.

You think any 3rd floor staffer would DARE insult the big boss, point out his lousy track record, and call hime names -- on company time and using city equipment (oh, probably just to 'throw you off the trail', right, conspiracy theorists?) Not a CHANCE.

Maybe some do look, but that don't mean they touch - and only in your mind can you logically suggest otherwise.

But then, logic isn't a tool the "tools" re-posting other people's news here every use (and Red Snot can't even spell it).

The COMMENTS were in response to RED SNOT saying 3rd floor staffers were POSTING spin.

For all you know, the "city" lookers may all be in Rocky's department, just logging ammo to sue someone's ass for libel and slander.

You can't prove it AIN'T them, anymore than you can prove anyone on the city payroll POSTS here anonymously.

Damn, Mayor Sam. You don't even READ your own blog.

The "noone" comment wasn't even ABOUT reading or posting here - at ALL. It was about Villar getting a second term as mayor. Here's what was posted yesterday.

Antonio will be Mayor again. Then he will be governor. Noone will run against him (for Mayor at least).

GEEZ, you weren't even close, this whole pouty little post was drummed up because your little feelings were hurt; because someone says you don't matter.

Was there some doubt about that?

People also look at bloody accidents and roadkill. Even me! That's doesn't mean they're an important part of their daily existence.

Obama is flip flopping and in fact, copying all Hillary's views and even stepping on McCain's toes in some cases, now that he's running for the election and not pandering to the left and ethnic tribalists. Hillary never did that, she always said what she meant and what she'd be saying in the General Election.

Obama was quick to agree to drivers licenses for illegals, and to giving them path to citizenship with NO consequences; now he's saying what Hillary and McCain have been all along -- they have to pay a fine, learn and pass an English and gov't test and then get to the back of the line. (I don't believe they'll enforce the back of the line stuff, though, and the "test" will be so easy anyone can pass. -- That's a case of lying to the public to get their vote, then swinging left AFTER the election. Like how they lied to us after the Amnesty of 86, about tough border controls as the second part.)

Obama's started wearing his flag lapel pin, that Hillary was made fun of for; Obama's saying now that we'll have to pull out of Iraq over 16 mos. or more, just like Hillary, to give Iraqis a chance to take over); Obama's taking ALL of Hillary's views and other than gay marriage, and Iraq, isn't much different from McCain. He isn't talking as much about "taxing the rich" who he puts at $70,000. Told ya.
