Boy it sure looks like the council staffers have nothing to do then post on here. Like they say if they are posting all this negative crap they must be worried a lot of people not just a small group will go. I must have gotten at least 5 e-mails from all over the city. Everyone is taking the day off for Ron Kaye and blast e-mailing to friends.

Bastille Day, July 14, celebrates the start of the French Revolution. Let this demonstation be the start of the Los Angeles Revolution, the day the people took power over the politicians. Come in costume, come as you are. Bring your gripes in signs and symbols and leave them at City Hall as a petition for redress of grievances. Volunteers, organizers, musicians, clowns and anyone who wants to make this the day they'll never forget are needed. Help organize. Propose Names for the protest. Join the movement to save L.A.

There will be about 20 white people all over 60 there in polyester pants and wearing John Deere hats.
Just like Walter Moore's rally about 40 people there all white not one black or brown person near any of those racists.

I hope this event is being held at city hall. I don't think it says where and when this event is.
Will this be another assinine idea to break up the City or create a stupid burrough system. Most people hate the school district but think the city is fine enough not to screw with it. Kaye must want to be mayor of fantasyland.
Council staffers are afraid to post here during the work day because they're all afraid of Blackman, and Blackman hates MS!

I was at City Hall today and I heard Zuma Dogg outside walking with someone saying that Jimmy Blackmon is an out of power loser. Is that true? I know everyone around him cringes at the sight of him. But an off putting aura isn't everything. I don't care if I don't advance in my career. I would never sleep with him.

They're not racists, but they do speak a lot about the costs of illegal immigration on that blog. Seem like a lot of older, retired people on fixed incomes, many from the Valley, but also the longtime homeowners on the westside who feel they're being squeezed out of their suburban lifestyles by the sudden influx of traffic and immigrants.
A Daily News article yesterday on how illegal immigration is impacting towns that have had shrinking birth rates and populations confirms their fears and those of others: "experts" from liberal universities confirm that this influx of mostly uneducated poor people who don't even know English fluently, are not providing the skills and tax base to offset population decline.
Instead, they're taking away money that was going to be used for their retirement, in the form of elderly services, community centers, home care providers paid for by MediCare and MediCare coverage in general.
All of a sudden, their hospitals have to gear up for births and free prenatal care, instead of geriatric care; for building schools, instead of elder-care facilities and social centers; for gang programs instead of outings for senior citizens.
Look at L A, and you'll see this is true in spades here.
"Whatever problems these communities are having, will not be fixed by illegal immigration," the study concluded. Indeed.
Ron Kaye's people are not "evil" or racist, just sad and frightened.
Hey 2:46, guess what. "I" am the one who wrote that it seemed to be turning into an anti-illegal immigration rally and if it did, I wouldn't go. Therefore, that makes "me" one of Ron Kaye's "people". That's cool. I am a Democrat who admits to idolizing Ron Kaye. But I do resent being lumped into the polyester-wearing, John Deere hat-wearing, old, white person from the valley. We have our liberals here. We also have people right here in the valley who don't hate foreigners. Yep - believe it. We're out here and neither "sad" nor "frightened" are words that anyone would use to describe me.
