Attorney General Jerry Brown will meet with Chief Bratton regarding Illegal Alien Gangs and Special Order 40
The Attorney General Jerry Brown, told Curtis Sliwa this morning, (Curtis sitting in for Bill O'Reilly on KABC-790); that he will meet with Chief Bratton regarding illegal alien gangs and Special Order 40.
Seems the Attorney General does not understand why illegal alien gangbangers are not being picked up and questioned about their immigration status. He went on to say that he can understand not stopping the mother going shopping for her family. But he does not understand why illegal alien gangbangers are not being arrested.
According to Brown, he'll be back on the show when he gets clarification from Chief Bratton.
Some of us need clarification too!

Bratton's got his orders from Mayor Tony V. and ending Special Order 40 is not one of them.
That's the long and the short of it.
Good news! I will be calling Jerry Brown's office and expressing my opinion. Special Order 40 needs to go in the trash can along with all the reconquistas who support it. I will also ask Brown to look into why the murderer's family is allowed to stay in this country when the sister has admitted and it was published that they are illegal aliens.
The reason illegal alien cholos are not being picked up off the streets is because mexican politicians like Mayor VillaBaboso and clowncil members Reyes, Alarcon and Huizar are more concerned about illegal aliens not American citizens.

The question is: will Chief Bratton meet with Jerry Brown?
Jerry Brown could use this issue to distinguish himself from his two "sanctuary city" rivals for governor. He should make Jamiel's Law part of his platform, state-wide.
We can agree to disagree about people who come here to work. But we should all agree to enforce our immigration laws against people who come here to kill and sell drugs: no sanctuary for illegal alien gang bangers!
This makes good sound bites for a Gov candidate, but where's he been for the last 20 years as Atty Gen'l, Gov and Mayor of Oakland while San Fran has had its even worse policy of actively aiding and abetting felons by buying airline tix and paying parole officers to escort illegal gangbanging felons back to their home countries, specifically to avoid ICE?
And more recently, sending dozens of these urban terrorists into San Bernardino and other communities FAR from San Francisco, where they've gone back out on the streets?
I hope people never forget to rub Newsom's nose in this - can you imagine him as our Governor?
You would get much further if you would lose the term illegal "alien". If you simply refer to illegals as illegal "immigrants", others wouldn't be so combative toward you.
In the meantime, you are the laughingstock of Los Angeles. No lie.

Robin Ritter Smith has an article in today's CityWatch: No More Taxes Without Better Governance. I'd never heard of her but she's running for CD 5.
But she gets Hahn's gang tax wrong: she keeps emphasizing that "every property in L A" will pay the tax, but the WON'T, ONLY SINGLE FAMILY HOMES AND UNITS UNDER 4. (The SAME people being hit with the trash fee hikes -- larger buildings don't pay the city, but contract privately.)
Larger apt. buildings and the projects which harbor most gangbangers are NOT included -- she totally misses that the people paying the tax again are the same ones hit.
She also blathers on about how we all need public safety again missing the point: the little old ladies in West L A being mugged in their homes, even at gunpoint, are begging for more cops in THEIR areas, not begging to pay for gang intervention programs that have not been proven to work or be financially efficient, in other areas. She's clearly never heard of the cred issues surrounding Hahn and Cardenas (whose controlling personality comes out in the LA Weekly article about how he and Jan Perry pressured the CRA to approve millions of CRA money for a slumlord friend of theirs).
It's cops on OUR streets, not hug-a- thug programs elsewhere, or poetry programs in juvie hall, that we need for our taxes.
This Robin Ritter sounds way too sloppy with details and naive, and I can't imagine her dealing with the other 14 sharks in the horseshoe. She's also been too gullible falling for the position of the NIMBY, anti-subway, anti- Expo line, anti surface solutions like Pico-Olympic, anti ANY new development even if it means letting the most valuable RE in the city fall into disrepair, groups.
Paul Koretz is also running, but as Councilman and Mayor of West Hollywood, presided over turning it into the densest city in the west, and they were totally dismissive of the concerns of adjacent L A and Beverly Hills residens, RUDELY so.
His pitch: "I've learned from my mistakes." Heard that one. AND he's so left, he'll be a clique with Rosendahl and Hahn, taxes, here we come AND he won't be able to stop development one lick.
If anything, he'll join the "affordable housing for low income" crowd for sure.
And speaking of unwanted aliens what about Don BesaCulo's shameless ass-kissing on Joe Mailanders blog. Let's hope that idiot doesn't immigarte back to this blog, good riddins to Don BesaCulo and all his whacky characters.

Even Catalina Island isn't immune from gang problems
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is cracking down on what officials describe as a small but disturbing gang problem on Santa Catalina Island.
On July 2, sheriff's deputies assisted probation officers in a sweep across the island, making five arrests. Most were members of the Brown Pride Locos.
"Catalina is a very safe place, but there is a gang issue here," said Lt. Ed Cook, who is based on the island. "They aren't doing drive-by shootings or walk-by shootings. But gang members . . . are tagging, committing burglaries and other crimes."
Cook said there are about 30 known gang members on the island.
A chief concern among deputies is that some of them were seen with more hard-core gangsters, believed to be members of the mainland gang Florencia 13, Cook said.
The Sheriff's Department worked to make it a condition of probation that island gang members cannot associate with each other, he said.

Brown is a master polician and this was his 1st official opening act for his run for governor. He's going to come off as a moderate democrat. Just watch and see.
I am surprised that Jerry Brown is not supporting special order 40. His democrat friends all support illegal aliens and giving them plenty of taxpayer money.
As mentioned earler Jerry Brown is migrating toward center. Besides the fact Special Order #40 should be easy to include in ones quiver of rescinded issues. It was instituted in the spirit of "special interests" by a Mayor with a clear agenda. Even a dyed-in-the-wool liberal should be safe appeasing documented citizens by claiming to disapprove of it, with a strong desire to rescind. Illegals are just that: ILLEGAL. Only don quixote and a select species of salamanders don't know that.

What Jerry is doing is called triangulation. Bill Clinton made it work and Jerry learned well.

Speaking of taxes, Jerry Brown also embraced Prop 13, after campaigning against it, after it was passed by an overwhelming majority. That's partly why it has survived to this day.
I think Special 40 and its kin are going to be finished in California.
I am sick and tired of our UN-American polititions protecting, coddeling and even favoring ILLEGALS...all 20 MILLION of them. OVER Americam Citizens. Citizens from EVERY culture and country around this sad world. When our HISPANIC polititions can consider AMERICAN CITIZENS FIRST, then we will "allow" you to continue in office...Otherwise, I call for the UN-SEATING and IMPEACHING of all of you who foster the Hispanic needs OVER our own CITIZENS.
