Dodgers get their Star with Politicos in tow

Props to the Los Angeles Dodgers organization for being honor on their 50th Anniversary in Los Angeles with a "Star" on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Owners Frank and Jamie McCourt were front and center for the festivities with the likes of Ron "The Penguin" Cey, Jamie Jarrin, Vin Scully, current players, and our "UNCLE TOMMY LASORDA".

No signs of anyone from the O'Malley Family in the audience, maybe that has to do with the current state of affairs at Chavez Ravine on the field.

But leave it to some of our local politicos to sniff out a prime "photo op" and insert themself into the proceedings.

In the photo above "Mayoral Candidate??" City Council President Eric Garcetti, is flanked by "Closet Republican" State Senator Mark Ridley- Thomas, who Frank McCourt endorsed for Board of Supervisor, and Assemblyman Kevin De Leon, who may have some "latent feelings" for one of the McCourts as stated by a previous poster.

Your thoughts appreciated.

Mark "Curly" Ridley-Thomas is sure packing on the pounds. He's got almost as much of a gut as Tommy Lasanga!

Did Tom LeBong once say "I go back so far in LA I remember when I served Mayor Bradley with a young Negro named Mark Thomas!"

That partnership crap is so effing emasculating.

A guy doesn't have to be Johnnie Bravo, but "partner" is ridiculous.

Does anyone here REALLY know the deal with him? Bi? Closeted? Genuinely straight?

Sorry Eric you are not eligible under California's Domestic Partnership laws (same sex or senior citizens only). Looks like you better get married.

What do you wanna bet when Eric finally gets married his wedding carbon footprint will be as big as a Brontosaurus's? F***ing elitist hypocrites.

.....meanwhile who partner was Kevin trying to tap??

Did anyone see Kevin De Leon salivating all over McCourt's wife when they were in City Hall for their Dodgers presentation -- they're putting a ton more money into the place, wise or not.

McCourt had to pry DeLeon off his wife and literally get between them -- she's really hot for her age, but it was so obvious De Leon fantasizing he'll bed this cougar (she's a grandmother) and figure out how to leech her.zxsz

Why doesn't someone tell the politicos that those who care even a little bit about the Dodgers, don't care about them. They just ruin the moment.

Eric Garcettii needs to work on being INDEPENDANT before he considers running mayor. As Council President, Garcettii rubber stamps everthing Mayor Villaraigos brings forth. No Checks and Balance with this Council.

Wah, wah, wah. All be get is crying the blues, just because Antonio is a shoo in to be reelected, MS feels that every day a slap, cheap shot, or outre suggestion of some other chickenshit to run and try to beat him is needed.

Give it up Higby, Antonio is the Mayor, and he IS popular, whether YOU like him or not.

As has been said many times on this blog: "He's Mayor and you're not." (Hertzberg's not either, by the way)

Dont bet on that. I can't find anyone who will fess up to voting for him, either as a Councilman, or a Mayor. Anyoneone I speak too says "I wont vote for him; he's a lier, cheat and thief; he's not out for us...just himself"
