Day 2 - The People Of The State Of California v.
According to Judge Bowers, the person accused of killing my Son, Jamiel A. Shaw, II (Jas), will have to answer to murder charges! He ruled yesterday after a full day of witnesses. The evidence is clearly against the defendant. The Defense Attorney tried to label my son as a documented gangbanger. He tried to bring in a smear campaign with no evidence. The Judge was not having any of that in his courtroom and ruled that none of the smear campaign will be allowed in the trial. Thank you Judge Bowers! Maybe now we can focus on the facts of this case.
The facts will show that my Son's girlfriend never said he was a gangbanger. She testified first and she held up under the Defense accusations. The facts will also show that the neighbor never said my son was a gangbanger. The defendant is a documented illegal alien gangbanger, not my son. My son is an innocent victim of a hate crime. End of story!
July 3, 2008, we will be back in court. Based on the evidence that came out of the Preliminary Hearing, the defendant will once again plead. The Judge may also set a trial date. Although Deputy District Attorney Bobby Grace, Jr., believes that the case will not go to trial before 2009. We'll just have to stay tuned.
The Deputy District Attorney called a gang expert to testify yesterday in court. He talked about eighteen street gang and the crimes they are involved in. This gang must be stopped! Jamiel's Law can put eighteen street out of business. All those in favor can vote for it! The streets of Los Angeles and the streets throughout the United States will be a better place when the eighteen street gang is a thing of the past! Why would any American Citizen and any legal immigrant vote against deporting all illegal alien gangbangers?
On the back of the defendant is a long "1" and a long "8". The entire back. His loyalty is with his gang. The eighteen street gang uses the number, "666". 6 times 3 equals 18. Along with other tattoos, the defendant has a 666 tattoo on one of his fingers. This gang identifies with evil and violence. This is why we believe he was able to kill my son so easily and then go to the park and, "kick it". This is why they kill like it's no big deal. It's what I have been saying, "It's about life and death, good and evil, right and wrong". The eighteen street gang is evil. They prove it and they proved it!
The Jamiel's Law Petition is finally approved by the City Clerk! On June 28, 2008 we will kick off a Signature Campaign and start getting the signature's need to get Jamiel's Law on the March 3, 2009 ballot. We will have 120 days to get the signatures. I strongly believe we will have no problem getting the signature's needed. I know that I'm not the only parent tired of the violence in our Country. I am so glad the judge stopped the defense's attempted character assasination of your son.
