Hillary Endorses McCain
Well sort of. Dummycrats are up in arms over recent comments by Mrs. Clinton that essentially say the GOP nominee is more qualified than Barack Obama to be President.
Shrillary is also floating the idea that Barack could be her running mate. Not going to happen. For one, Barack's going to get the nomination (as clearly demonstrated by Jonathan Alter via Joe Mailander). Two, there is no upside for Barack to take the position or to have Mrs. Clinton as his running mate. The last thing he needs, should the Clinton-Obama or Obama-Clinton ticket win, is to have four to eight years of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton sitting at the White House or the Naval Observatory respectively scheming against him. Should they lose, Obama doesn't need the stink of the Clintons on him.
Obama's best bet is to choose exactly what John McCain doesn't need in a Veep - a white, southern male with deep experience who won't outshine him or even try. Someone like Chuck Robb of Virginia or perhaps or Senator Bill Nelson from Florida, a blue dog environmentalist who leans on the semi pro-life side and even flew on the Space Shuttle. Nelson has additional street cred with Democrats as he beat Republican poster child Katherine Harris in his 2006 re-election campaign. Yup, that's the guy Obama needs, Nelson. Print the bumper stickers now kids, McCain-Palin and Obama-Nelson.
“I think that I have a lifetime of experience that I will bring to the White House. Sen. John McCain has a lifetime of experience that he’d bring to the White House. And Sen. Obama has a speech he gave in 2002.”

A sure bet for mcCain would be Condoleeeza Rice. She's qualified, knowledgeable on world events and contracts, will get the Black vote if Shillary sleazes the convention and steals the delegates from Obama. Obama as VP will never fly, as he is more appealing and visible, a better speaker, etc than Shillary, no one eants to be up staged. If Shillary does sleaze the convention, she will lose the black vote and the youth/college vote that Obama brought into the primaries. Most won't vote Republican, but if Condoleeza is the VP choice, many will. Sordid truth will play out.

Condi Rice will not get the black votes. It's incredibly racist to think that blacks will vote for any African American they throw in the mix, and only a white know nothing would suggest such a thing. Take your sordid truth and stuff it.
