Outtakes from the "RED SPOT INSTITUTE"
"POLITICS OF TOWING":
Thanks to the likes of Jose Huizar and Janice Hahn, more communities are revisiting their policies, pertaining to the impounding of vehicles driven by unlicensed drivers. Notice, nowhere in that sentence, did we mention anything about the immigration status of the effected drivers. The "slope of equal and fair interpretation of laws", gets slippery when race is injected into the discussion.
"FRIEND OF GIL, MARIO BELTRAN":
Small town (Bell Gardens), political something, maybe hack ? Mario Beltran has been hit with a complaint by the DA Office of Public Integrity. This is the same BABOSO/POLITICO who is under FBI investigation for steering towing contracts to connected friends. There also something about making threats to another councilman that "STUPIDO" forgot were recorded. Even better, this is the same "DRUNK" who was found passed out in a downtown building known for prostitution. Yet the likes of his boss, State Senator Ron Calderon and "ONE BILL GIL" Cedillo, vouch for this guy, Follow the money.......
"ATTORNEY GENERAL JERRY BROWN CRACKS DOWN ON BUSINESSES ":
State Attorney General Jerry Brown has a novel idea. He wants to crack down on businesses who do not pay their employees at least the legal minimum wage. Leave it to old "GOV. MOONBEAM" to realize that this may be an issue ? G.A. Brown, here are some places that you may want to check out, Mac Arthur Park, Soto and Cesar Chavez, anyone selling peanuts, flowers, snow cones on street corners, anyone pushing a "PALETA CART". I'm sure the blogger sphere can add more locations. Then maybe partner up with ICE on enforcement.
"CAN NAHAI STAND UP TO IBEW AT DWP ?":
Thursday brings out the latest "TARGETS OF SNIPING" from City Beat writer, formerly of the LA Weekly, Alan Mittelstaedt. Main target this week is the Mayor's selection for GM at DWP, H. David Nahai. Main premise being whether Nahai can Stand up to IBEW's Brian D'Arcy. Also quick hit on Tutor of Tutor-Saliba.
"JOE TORRE NEW DODGERS MANAGER":
Dodgers were granted an exemption by Major League Bassball, from the minority recruitment process. The hiring of Torre, and a possible play for Alex Rodriguez may bring about a realignment in the Los Angeles sports scene.

Your favorite cities, Huntington Park Maywood and Bell Gardens are dropping the 30-day waiting period for illegals who get their cars towed. And dropping the impound fees. On the grounds that these illegals need to drive to carry on with their lives -- like aiming unlicensed, unensured deadly mega-ton machines at people who are dumb enough to either get and pay for their licenses and insurance, or just be caught dead on the street.
Everyone else's insurance is double in some areas of L A to subsidize these people who don't pay for their collisions. With no or fake licenses, you can't even find them.
So one bill Gil Cedillo found some takers.
He's also pushing for free universal health care for illegals paid for by US taxpayers, since "health needs have no borders."
Another strong argument to keep the illegals out in the first place.
This is not a "humane" issue like they claim, it's a financial one.
3/4 of public school kids are officially poor, which means they get free lunches. Many are illegals.
Hospitals and clinics are closing because they're stuck with almost $9 billion annually from uninsured. A good percentage illegal.
Set up a guest worker program, so they can come and go as needed, not with their whole families forever at our expense.
The federal government must help us financially and by crafting laws, but L A must cease being a sanctuary city and encouraging illegals to move here instead of being spread around the U. S.
Cedillo and Alarcon talk about "anti-illegal hysteria" blaming the legal residents and citizens, but they just don't get it. It's them flaunting the laws and sticking it to the working poor and middle class who are fueling a backlash.

I paid taxes, as a worker, homeowner, investor, etc for 50 years. I cant pay my bills anymore with, medical bills, increases in city and state taxes. The state wont give me any help but will give a 'new immagrant" who is over 62' over $2,00 a month in benefits. Lets send the illegals back and let anyone who has worked for more than 25 years and paid all taxes a chance to recover from being raped by the city of Los Angeles and the 'Mexican Mafia".

But before you take 4:11's advice, gullible little ones, run your throbbing mouse across the link and notice that it takes you to a porn site called "mylatinahoneys.com/hiphophoneys/"
I bet you a green card they ALL have theirs, are all 3rd generation "Uh-mericans," and dropped out of LAUSD high schools at 15 "cuz it was, like, boring, duh!"
Nice try Antonio, now get back to work!

Is Urteaga the one that was in the paper campaigning at the TELACU senior facility? Who is his key endorsements?
Is he better or worse then Norma Lopez-Reid? If she does win, maybe she can update her picture. She has been using the same photo forever.

is he 'anonymously' posting in favor of himself? as a moderator no less?
a little research on this blog finds threads about urteaga blogging here (rather than campaigning) throughout nick pacheco's failed bid for elective office in 2005.
what's going on here?

Robert Urteaga is an example of affirmative action as work. Lived in LA for so long, then "comes back" to some poor, Hispanic city where his mother happened to plot him out, and claim he deserves a seat on council because of that. He can't even put together a sentence, much less coherently run a campaign.
If the voters of Montebello are that stupid to vote for him, then God help them.

Pacheco Holds Large Lead Across the Board in Race to Fill Villaraigosa's Council Vacancy
Los Angeles, CA: A poll conducted June 14 to 16 revealed that former Councilman Nick Pacheco holds a commanding lead in the race to fill the soon to be vacant 14th Council District seat because of Councilman Antonio Villaraigosa assuming the duties of Mayor on July 1.
"As a resident of the 14th Council District, I knew the survey would have these results," said Campaign Manager Robert Urteaga.
How did that prediction go?

I believe D'Arcy will eat Nahai's lunch, but Nahai will insist it be done with dignity and decorum and perhaps a spot of tea.
Villaraigosa will then claim the DWP is under control because D'Arcy ate Nahai's lunch on his terms.

Urteaga's a lou. You aspire to loudom.
Folks, search 'Urteaga' on this blog. What a joke.
No shame, no dignity: now he's a mod here! Pathetic.
What could Montebello have done in a past life to deserve Urteaga?
Anonymous said:
Well, for openers, it gave us Richard Alatorre and a host of Midget Mexican Mechista Mayor wannabe's.
Montebello has always produced folks who want to leave and come to LA.
Now Robert is going back to his roots, so give him a shot.
He can create a new Santa Monica Boulevard right downtown in Montebello (preferably near the high school)

Why do most people posting comments on this blog post comments which are so cryptic? If you really know something just post all the facts. If you really know who Red-Spot is, just post a comment that says Red-Spot is “xxx”. The person who posts as Captain Sparrow is another annoying poster, if you really know something just tell us, don’t be an idiot and post comments which just allude to a perceived person and scandal. If this blog is to be considered news worthy we expect to read hard real facts not just supposition and innuendo.
If Mayor Sam’s blog is be taken seriously given us facts not just supposition and innuendo (savvy??) Zuma Mutt is typical of the quality of this blog, he is just a cartoon character, indicative of the quality of this blog.

Can the juveniles on this blog go play someplace else? Huizar would be an idiot if he tried to do anything to enforce a moritorium again on impounding cars. Many of his constituents were outraged he did it the last time and it backfired in his face. His district has gone down the toliet because of all the illegal vending, trash, graffitt, too many illegals and he sits on his ass and collects a huge paycheck doing nothing. People are tired of it and wait til he goes to another meeting, they are going to go off on him.
Wasn't it reported that 49% of hit and run drivers are illegals? HOw stupid can these politicans be? The illegals refuse to apply for citizenship even though they've been here for over 10 years then they demand rights like the rest of us and REFUSE TO SPEAK ENGLISH....Its about time for the legal residents and I mean thousands of Latino legal who are sick of the illegal to start letting their moron reps know this is discrimination and has to be against the law.

Using a non-profit to funnel donations.
Isn't this what Fabian backed Antonio and Parke accused Nick of doing? Yet, after four investigations by the DA and Ethics commission, nothing illicit came out.
Just like with Alatorre, hypocrisy reigns supreme in Latino politics.

Did you just call Montebello some poor Hispanic city? Boy that sure is going to piss off Ron Calderon and his "Harpo" Beltran. Get a clue, Montebello is the rich mexican neighborhood. Those who made it out of East L.A. would inevitably end up here. Although it's built ona dump - that''s the one, next to the 60 fwy before the Paramount exit - Montebello Latinos walk around like their shit don't smell.

Immmigration status is not the same as race. "Not injecting race into the issue" to try to be P C (wow, this blog must be taking heat from somewhere) doesn't mean someone can't or shouldn't point out that the people affected (and affecting the general public) by their lack of licenses and insurance are illegals.
If China were at our borders and they were mostly Chinese, the issue would be the same.

Huizar has more gangs in his district then the rest of the city and CNN can vouch for that yet he and Cardenas and bitter Bernie think they have the answer. Where is the gang prevention audit Huizar was suppose to do 6 months ago in his district on LA Bridges? Huizar is nothing more then a paid lackey for Antonio. He has no leadership or guts and tries acting like he has respect. He's the clown of boyle Heights and no one pays attention to him. they don't treat him any differently then a regular resident.
COUNCILMEMBER HUIZAR EMBRACES NEW GANG INTERVENTION MODEL
On October 27, Councilmember Huizar joined Councilmembers Tony Cárdenas and Bernard Parks to endorse a new definition and model of gang intervention services for the City of Los Angeles. The new definition was developed by gang intervention service providers, including Communities in Schools, Homies Unidos, Soledad Enrichment Action, and the Youth Justice Coalition, and recognizes a two-pronged approach to gang intervention: hard-core, street based mediation and supportive
services for gang members and their families.
THESE ARE THE MOST RADICAL NON PROFITS AROUND. THEY HATE LAW ENFORCEMENT, ARE MECHA MENTALITY PEOPLE, HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT HOW TO DEAL WITH GANGS YET GETS HUNDRED OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FROM THE CITY. STUPID ASS HUIZAR.
Anonymous said:
Dumb ass Huizar catering to the gang bangers again. Someone please kick his butt and make a man out of Huizar, he's still in diapers. Didn't the LA Slimes report on the corruption in Estrada Courts and yet Huizar hasn't said a word yet wants LAPD patrols in there. Ramona Gardens is the most corrupt projects in the city with EMME running the entire place. shooting at cops and everyone wants the projects demolished but sleazy WEEZY caters to them to. No wonder no one respects Huizar and treat him like a regular resident. In fact no one even knows who the hell he is.
COUNCILMEMBER HUIZAR CALLS FOR STEPPED-UP LAPD PATROLS
Councilmember Huizar called on the Los Angeles Police Department to
increase its patrol presence in properties owned by the Housing
Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA), including Dolores Mission, Estrada Courts, and Ramona Gardens

Is Robert Urteaga Wet Spot or not? If so what does he know about LA and CD 14? If Wet Spot is Mexican, why does he hate the Midget Mayor as he's so lovingly referred to here? Is he one of those Mechas who thinks Mayor is too oreo cookie, not Mexican enough? What's his position on Aztlan and the Reconquista vs. the American Indians as only real native Americans? Does he celebrate el Grito or even know what it is? Does he eat churros or doughnuts?
Anonymous said:
Someone should ask Robert Urteaga where was he during the last 4 hours of Pacheco's campaign against Antonio. People have said he was having drinks with Cynthia Ruiz an Antonio operative during campaign. Robert had the vans to take people to the polls but failed to show up. Is that a person Montebello should elect?
