Bloggin Dispute over Villarsalinas Affair
With no more reported instances of the "MAYORAL PALACE GUARD" taking out enquiring reporters. Now might be the time to reflect back on the "COLLATERAL DAMAGE" of "AFFAIR VILLARSALINAS", with focus on the "BLOGGERSPHERE".
Kevin Roderick, editor of the blog, "LA Observed", or as I lampooned it, "OBSERVING WEST L.A. LIFE AND HIS TIMES", started the "BALL ROLLING" with his now famous "PUFF PIECE" on our Mayor, for "Los Angeles Magazine". "Ridicule and Bricks" were cast the "WEST SIDE WHITE GUY" way, from the objective "LOCAL BLOGGERSPHERE" for this blatant P.R. piece.
Along comes former "HERALD-EXAMINER" writer Tony Castro, now a reporter with the Daily News, with his myth breaking, deconstruction of MAYOR ANTONIO VILLARAIGOSA. Throwing cold water over the facade created by Parke Skelton and Ace Smith. Castro was hit with a "BARRAGE OF SPIN AND DISINFORMATION", by the Villaraigisa Machine and their willing allies.
One of those "WILLING ALLIES" was "WWG" himself, who posted on his website, "WHO IS TONY CASTRO ??". He later went through Castro's tormented past and sought to denigrate Castro's journalistic standing.
Yet, months later, Tony Castro would be vindicated when the Mayor, in secession, announced his separation from Corina Raigosa. Then admitted to an Affair with Telemundo Broadcaster, Mirthala Salinas.
In visiting each's web site, the "SCARS" are still fresh and prone to repeated openings. Opine on your thoughts.

The guy in the suit is leaning forward projecting confidence, while the other one is shlumpy and slouched back in his seat, younger but more pasty and out-of-shape...
Could Castro's body language and slobby appearance reflect his outsider paranoia, lack of confidence and hence, tendency to project his own insecurities onto others? This is a field of study in which Zuma Dogg is both subject and "expert."
Mayor Sam is, in the Census Bureau's vernacular, a "non-Hispanic white" Republican. And Red Spot not only can't spell very well, he needs an editor.
What hell are you trying to say? You need more than an editor. You need remedial English.
Mayor Sam is Latino sephardic Jew, his family emmigrated from Spain in the 1820s, moved to Mexico and to the US around World War I.

5:30; Read book about "Hidden Jews" in Mexico -- until recently, Jews couldn't reveal themselves there, had to pose as Christian with the Xmas tree and lights and mass etc., "hid" their religious practices. Wonder if that influenced his politics...

ZD, et al, do deserve to be castigated for all manner of error with respect to not only crimes against Strunk and White, the OED, etc., but let us not get distracted by Mayor Tony's trouser snake-maneuvering that has left these sixty suburbs in search of a city, in search of a life-jacket. The sub-prime, the fourth (and barely successful) "loft-y" attempts to jump-start downtown Los Angeles, the wrong way of the MTA (it took too many years to name TWO STOPS the Purple Line. The Purple Line should should have been where the new terminal point departed toward the Valley in 1999! And yet the same idiots continue to be the guiding force of not only the MTA but other agencies!), near-misses with regards to strikes by those responsible for trucking lanes and grocery stores. . .
It is time to take Tony, Rocky and the whole new crew of Boss Tweed newbies to task. here is a shot across the bow, one that can be found in print by those who navigate the dilapidated lanes of public transportation:
