SHADY/CORRUPT POLITICIANS ABOUT TO BLOW UP THE SPOT: You know ZD gets cranky over all the Paris, Rocky, Mayor's personal life talk...but you can't fight the tide...and between what has already come out this week, and what is on deck...YOU CAN BEST BELEIVE THAT LA CITY POLITICS ARE ABOUT TO BECOME THE NATION'S MOST COMPELLING REALITY SHOW. These politicians are about to provide the City with a "Shock and Awe" PR smear campaign on each other, that will end up taking everyone down -- and maybe we'll be singing, "Ding Dong, the witch is dead" a lot sooner than expected. Just when I thought I was getting out of all of this for the summer...they pull me back in. Man, are the blogs and talk radio about to get hot! [It should be noted that ZD has received more calls and emails from more new people this week, than EVER! It's too much...need stringers to handle it all!!!]
* WENDY GREUEL: Meet Charles Peyton. Man, is he against this one bar in your area! From the site (click link above): An Illegal club Opened and Operates in NOHO, 7 years ago with no sound proofing, no parking, not even an occupancy permit. Despite court orders and variance stating "Not to Operate" he does, 5 nights a week with Wendy Greuel supporting. Wendy Greuel stood before city council and supported a criminal to be granted a variance while he was on probation for running an illegal dance hall and was court ordered not to operate and still is on probation today 6.3.07 [Pretty hilarious site...unless you live in City Controller Candidate Wendy Greuel's district. a) All the stuff regarding Rocky's wife's stuff, and Rocky having staff babysit.
b) Having a hooker on your staff to service your contractor clients? (Not Rocky)
* SOJOURNERS: With Villaraigosa's appointment of "Czar" Carr this week, it sure put Sojourners on the map. (The non-profit group Carr is President of.) Plenty of information from their web site on this blog in the comment section. Will post complete story on this "religous" group that is based on Marxist/Communist "Liberation Theology". (Not breaking any news here...just ask them!) This group is carrying MAJOR political weight, are VERY cotroversial, and I think this appointment is going to end up being a HUMONGOUS can of worms. And to all you "Libertarian Theology fans...THIS IS MORE ABOUT "HYPOCRACY" THAN A DEBATE ON THE MERITS OF "Liberation Theology." And to everyone who feels Marxist/Communism IS the answer; from what I see, the politicians violate the "spirit", and turn it corrupt, just like everything else. So it becomes nothing more than a "front" cause for bilking the funds, just like everything else.
* LA "BROKEN" BRIDGES: The Mayor and City Council want to give over $12 million to the program that the City just paid $500,000 to be told the program was in serious disarry (to put it mildly). So what does that Mayor do...He pops a Sojourner in as Czar, and gives LA "BROKEN" Bridges over $12 million. YOU WANNA END POVERTY, CITY COUNCIL & SOJOURNERS (SOUJOURN CITY COUNCIL)??? HOW ABOUT YOU STOP DRAINING THE CITY AND STATE BONDS AND FUNDS WITH YOUR NON-PROFIT RACKET AND EVERY OTHER ANGLE YOU USE TO TAKE THE "POT" (money sitting there to be diverted into yours and your cronies/families pockets) -- AND START PUTTING IT INTO THE COMMUNITY YOU ARE SENDING INTO POVERTY. YOU F-ING HYPOCRITES...You sit there all day long and come up with new and ingenious and illegal ways to waste the money earmarked for the pueblos...then you have to go create all these bullsh*t motions to "END" poverty, Sojourn-style, on the backs of taxpayers. Antonio Villaraigosa at the 107th annual Golden Dragon Parade.Villaraigosa has gained a reputation as a national leader in the Democratic party, and some consider him a hopeful future candidate for higher office such as Governor of California, U.S. Senate, or even President of the United States if he achieves enough national recognition. He has been featured on the cover of Newsweek with the accompanying headline, "Latino Power", and in Time as one of the country's 25 most influential Latinos.
However, it has also been acknowledged that Villaraigosa's extramarital pursuits have not been beneficial to his political stature. Most recently, as of may, his wife and he split over an affair, one in which he impregnated the other woman. The mayor, who is widely considered to have designs on higher office, has been dogged by rumors of marital infidelity for years.
The New Yorker magazine reported in May that after winning a 1994 Democratic primary for the California state legislature, he took off for several days with a friends's wife, infuriating colleagues who had helped portray him as a family man. His wife, at home having just had chemotherapy, was similarly infuriated.
Villaraigosa makes frequent trips to both Sacramento and Washington DC and makes appearances on national news programming and at events of prominence, such as the White House Correspondents Dinner. Mayor Villaraigosa was even photographed by the Washington Post along with many other politicians sleeping during President Bush's 2006 State of the Union speech. Villaraigosa also delivered the Democratic Party's Spanish-language response to President George W. Bush's 2006 State of the Union address from his mayoral residence, the Getty House. Villaraigosa is the first mayor since Tom Bradley who has opted to live in the Getty House; both Mayors Riordan and Hahn chose to stay in their own homes, Riordan in his mansion in Brentwood, and Hahn in his single-family house in San Pedro.
Villaraigosa was a leader of MEChA at UCLA [6] [7]. Talk radio hosts John and Ken of KFI refer to him as Mayor Reconquista [8] because of that and because of his support for amnesty for illegal immigrants [9]. Other KFI hosts like Bill Handel or John Ziegler refer to him as "Mayor Viva La Raza" because of his support for the Hispanic League La Raza ("the Race"). Former KABC radio host Kevin James and Los Angeles Mayor candidate Walter Moore ofter refer to Villaraigosa as "Mayor Photo-Op" or even "Mayor Photoraigosa" because of the high frequency in which he holds press conferences and attends photo-ops. In 2002 Villaraigosa said that, "I think there is a lot of momentum and support for an amnesty or regularization."
Wikepedia is a joke. No reputable school even lets kids use it as a reference anymore, since anyone can break into anyone's account and add stuff however frivolous or unfounded or even libelous -- kids and cheap downmarket political hackers do this all the time. You must have gone to one of the LAUSD schools the mayor is trying to fix, or some redneck version where they never get to the FM dial. If you're trying to make an even sleazier stretch from the mayor in Wikepedia to some hooker stuff re: DA, that is truly pathetic... take a little more of those blue pills.

I didn't know that had been revealed as fact, yet? Man, you don't think the mayor is gonna sue for libel once his crew sees THIS? (Plus, they spell "May" with a small "m". Maybe that's o.k. for ZD and Red Spot, but common Wikepedia. Looks like you're not even checking this stuff.)
I can't believe the city council would allow another 12 million to be (funneled)to an obviously thug and corrupt organization? Or did I misinterpret the L.A. Weekly articles?

MEMO TO THE "POLLONISTA SPIN TEAM", aka, "MEAT", "PARKE-que", "ACE of VILLAR",
Now I share some of the same concerns about "WIKIPEDIA" as the third poster on this thread. For example one should check out the "Academia Semillas del Pueblo" listing on this web site. They make allusions to Doug McIntyer as being a proveyor of "HATE RADIO". We all that is not the case. Maybe that is why ther is a push for a creation of a "FAIR and BALANCE VERSION" of Wikipedia, from the Conservative Political Community.
All that stated, if the "WIKIPEDIA POSTING" for the "POLITICO FORMERLY KNOWN AS ANTONIO VILLARAIGOSA", tony villar, is not true. Then the "POLLONISTA SPIN TEAM" better get a libel attorney, maybe "tony" can file for himself, but I just remember that he is just an "PEOPLES ADVOCATE". So guys here is what the world will see when they connect to "MAYOR ANTONIO VILLARAIGOSA" on Wikipedia. Start working MEAT!!

I find it interesting that the mayors from all over were right here in LA and none of the local media mentioned it. The way the LA Slimes is beating up Rocky and his wife is beginning to be hilarious and over the top. Good thing is people are feeling sorry for them as victims to the corruption of Antonio, Weiss and Baca. No one has done to get rid of gangs more then Rocky. Antonio, the little shit, is the weakess leak and has no leadership at all. I am thankful for the fact that you copy "WORD FOR WORD" what was posted at Wikipedia because as of 6:30 PM. Somebody from the "POLLONISTA SPIN TEAM", allegedlly edited out the mention of "impregnated the other woman". Sounds like something out of the Nixon Administration. Plumbers then, Hackers now. Well, I guess MEAT did listen for once.
