Who's behind all the Delgadillo disclosures, and why are they making these disclosures NOW?
None of this events in issue is recent; all occurred several years ago, right? So who is it, and why now?

This "SPIN ASSUALT" on the "AFFAIR DE ROCKTARD" is beyond its "CYCLE OF ATTENTION". At this time the "BARRIER OF SPIN" is now worn down and that allows the spotlite to be trained on the "POLITICO KNOWN AS ANTONIO VILLARAIGOSA", tony villar. What is next ?? NOTHING!!. Now it is time to train the spotlight on "TEAM VILLAR" and al its falsehoods.

Now, can you help me with this one: what's the deal with Weiss and Villaraigosa? Why are they allied?
Weiss, I suppose, wants a piece of the Villaraigosa war chest. But why would Villaraigosa support him instead of, say, Brother Bob Hertzberg? Is Villaraigosa thinking he's going to get votes and/or money from Weiss's supporters?
Bob Hertzberg will steal the limelight. Last time around he joined the race to take away votes. This time around he can win for real. Yup for real dude.

It's the perfect storm. Rocky is universally despised by his deputies. He tries to rehab his falling reputation by getting Paris Hilton back into jail. But his wife is guilty of the same thing Paris Hilton is guilty of.
Political enemies of Rocky (Baca, MAV, Weiss, Cooley, etc.) have valuable information about his wife's driving habits. Whatever info these enemies don't have, they get from angry deputies. Then the enemies feed all of it to Patrick McGreevey, & the Times runs a negative story on Rocky every day for weeks.
MAV then gets over 2 ways: he deflects attention from "babygate" and can potentially push out Rocky & install his ally Weiss as C/A.
Sure, MAV is the Times's designated Latino, but Rocky (& his wife) have monumentally screwed up. It's like they put gas on their own fire.
It couldn't work out any better for MAV. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

Your love of conspiracy theories while fun, is completely off the mark.
As i explained to ZD -- remember why all this hapened, Paris Hiton. Rocky was the one who stood up in front of the world to announce he was sending paris hilton back to prison, whether right or wrong he did it.
Word around town is that the hilton team has the financial resources to get anything they want, while they couldn't keep paris from jail, they can easily research public documents and pay for all the lawyers in the world to get this information.
They then dump it to the LA Times as punishment to Rocky.
After that I think Rocky not fessing up pissed off the LA Times and from there they just didn't stop.
Thats the exact truth, but I figure fun soap opera type of conspiracies are more entertaining the boring truth.

I told you last week I believe that ATZLAN was giving out instructions on their website for phase two, this week those instructions were followed. Today American citizens were marching in LA, at Leimert Park, this event was SPONSORED BY: Choose Black America, Los Angeles Co-sponsored by: Millennium Panthers; West Side Illegal Immigration Control. They were met by 300 people protesting against them. The American citizens had a permit for a march at the park but were stopped by the pro illegal immigrant people, at some point the LAPD was called to separate the two groups, at this point the only arrest we know of was Ted Hayes, who was rightfully there under permit. In case you do not remember phase two was civil disobedience and peaceful resistance and the LAPD backed down to these people and arrested an American citizen for exercising his right to protest.
I don’t suppose it is much of a surprise when it was not to long ago during the last Grand march that they were sent home with their tails tucked between their legs because their superiors were afraid of the backlash for doing their jobs. Still though it makes me very angry, that we allowed and I do mean allowed those people to march through our streets and today we saw what many of us feared would come to pass, our own people, AMERICAN CITIZENS abandoned by the very people who were supposed to protect them and arrested even though their march was more legal than the grand march. People, if you are not mad as hell right now you are not paying attention, this is just the beginning, this will begin to happen at every single march put on by American citizens and do you want to know why? Because the LAPD just set the example.
The day an American citizen who has gone through all the channels and gotten all the permits is forbidden to march in protest is the day that they will have won and it looks like that day was today. Get out your Spanish disks; you are going to need them. We have our leaders coddling these people, we have the cops defending them against the American citizens and some how most Americans have yet to see that there is a problem? There have been people out here telling you for the last two years, we have told you so many times that even we feel like we are a broken record and you are not listening. This is not just one single incident, in Austin, Texas at the rally there last weekend during the prayers, the pledge and the singing of our National Anthem, the opposition was beating on drums, screaming FU during all of this, US Border Watch had a permit those others didn’t but were they shut down? NO.

And, 10:37, I don't really have a conspiracy theory. That's actually why I'm asking: I sincerely don't really "get" why all this is happening now. The theories commenters have laid out tonight really interest me.
I note also that tonight's comments are far more sophisticated then when the staffers are at "work," which seems to consist of name-calling on this blog.
Tonight's theories seem plausible, but I'm not really "sold" on any of them because there's no hard evidence yet. As time passes, that evidence may materialize.
This is kind of how litigation works: you try to figure out how in the heck something happened (e.g., where all a company's money went); you develop some hypotheses; and then you see if you can find evidence to prove or disprove same. It's just like the scientific method, only you wear a tie.
They were allowed to march, to hold rallies, to block traffic, to have speakers, to do just about anything they wanted. Their kids were able to walk out of our schools and march. Our people can’t even have a rally without them out there screaming at them. Now suppose somebody tell me how any of this is right, tell me how it is right for the American tax payer to have to foot the bill for the illegals to become legal, pay for their children to inhabit our schools and run up our property taxes to build bigger schools. For them to use our emergency rooms for free, demand we pay for translators at those hospitals and for translators for voting and in the police department in the schools and an American tax payer is not allowed to protest any of this, what in the hell is going on here and when is somebody, anybody going to stop this madness? LAPD only thought they had it bad the last time and they had the American citizens behind them, today they don’t have that. I hope everyone calls and emails them because I don’t know about you but I personally have had enough.
My blog the Voice was hacked not once but twice today because they don’t want me beating this drum. There is a video on Youtube detailing how not to hire an American, I have it on the Voice if you are lucky you might find it, if you are lucky and it has not been hacked again. We have Mayors throwing a fit because we are raiding workplaces and rounding up illegals. All the while they are steadily beating their drums, if you be quiet and listen you can almost hear them, the time to make a stand is now, because if we don’t there may not be anything left to make a stand over, these people plan to take over and from where I am standing they have a pretty good foothold. They were in the secret meetings to craft this bill, they had a veto, our cops are afraid to stop them for fear of being politically incorrect, our leaders are afraid to stop them because they might riot, and today they proved to the whole world they could stop American Citizens from marching, get ready my friends, because it has begun.

Taking a picture of the Mayor from a seated position, aiming up at him in a dark exposure, while HE'S TALKING TO A ROOMFUL OF 10-YEAR-OLDs, for Pete's sake, and trying to simplify his explanation: what does it prove?
No political figure or celebrity can be "judged" by his "sophistication" or appearance in that context. Who took that little cam-video, anyway? Trashy /TMZ type sites always have a feature of "look, a celeb w/ no makeup," always trying to make the person look bad...(recently, Ashley Simpson coming out of a beauty salon after 8 hours looking like a total wreck, or Sharon Stone, or...) Given how bad some of them come off, and given he's talking to kids, the Mayor is fine. Anyone have a POINT they're making here?

The timing was pure chance...I think the LA Times had several of these stories in the hopper and got lucky when Rocky did his Paris Hilton jig...inside LA City circles, Rocky has a very bad reputation as an empty suit who is only interested in the next press conference...the LA Times and others have known about Rocky's character flaws for some time...ie. the resume lies etc...the truth coming out of Rocky is only beginning...there is so much more...bottom line: a prosecutor must pursue the interests of justice and his credibility when exercising discretion must be above reproach...and, when giving advice to his client, he must do so in the best interests of the City...Rocky not acted accordingly for some time...everyone knows it...look how his top mgt. left en mass as fast as they could two years ago...it starts with a non-lawyer running the office making legal decisions with political considerations being the driving force...she hires a Chief Deputy whose most recent duties were political advice...
Walter, the problem is there are more people in this city that hate the LA Slimes for doing nothing but puff pieces on Antonio that when they started their assault on Rocky and his wife it actually backfired. More people are talking about all the council members and the crap they've done and saying at least Rocky is the only one going after the gang bangers. You know how we all hate the gang bangers. Rick Orlov is looking for stories of what other council members have done similar to Rocky. The timing is odd. Of course its Antonio/Baca/Weiss to take Rocky down. Baca got embarrassed over Hilton treatment, Weiss Ass wants Rocky's job (never happen) and Antonio is just a scumbag.
