Malibu Springs a Leak

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Works’ Waterworks Division continues to repair an emergency water leak on a 6" water main at the address of 27856 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. Nearly 20 households and three fire hydrants are affected by the shutdown. The customers and fire hydrants in the area where the water is shut off, 27400 to 27860 Pacific Coast Highway, are being notified in person or by notice that the water will remain off until 7:00 p.m. The condition of the pipe at the leak site requires that a length of the pipe be replaced, rather than use a clamp for the repair.

Partial lane closures on the number 2 southbound lane from the 28200 to 27800 block of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) will remain until approximately 9:00 p.m. this evening.
