EXCLUSIVE! Zuma Dogg Joins Mayor Sam's Sister City

Its official. The leader of LA's Revolution of Summer 2006 is heading into the Fall as an official blogger here at the Sister City. Yes, Mayor Sam and Zuma Dogg have officially joined forces to shake up the folks on Spring Street.

Join us here regularly for reports from the Prince of Venice, the Duke of Doggdom, the Sultan of Spring Street as we take back LA for Angelenos.

Hey Zuma, here's your first bone to munch on:

From today's Times:

" The mayor's office was, in this case, Mike Trujillo, working with Nathan James. Both are full-time employees of the mayor's Excellence in L.A. Schools, which promoted Villaraigosa's bid for substantial authority over the Los Angeles Unified School District. Trujillo alerted Angelides' people, said James, adding his involvement ended there..."

I'm, sure MEAT is thrilled about being labled "the mayor's office." Once again manipulating the masses for political gain. In this case manipulating kids. How many of these kids parents are registered to vote or citizens or for that matter here legally? How is this different than an unscrupulous employer paying undocumented workers less than minimum wage or forcing them to work in abhorent conditions.

MEAT is still taking it up the ass for Antonio. I hope he has a supply of KY Jelly. Maybe that snack bar at city hall should stock this item - and place it right next to those Listerine strips.

I think Trujillo was Chief Parker not MEAT.

That was confirmed long ago by our fearless leader Mayor Sam.

And it's nice to see you have a KY jelly fetish, not sure you want the rest of the blogosphere to know that, but to each their own.

I think Mayor Sam did more damage to Antonio's campaign than actually helping it. His blog exposed quite a bit about the real Antonio. Remember June from the Venice Room or all those 14th District bloggers - those were exclusive to Mayor Sam and Parke wasn't all too happy about that.

CITY HALL:
In broad terms, political corruption is the misuse of public office for private gain. All forms of government are susceptible in practice to political corruption. Degrees of corruption vary greatly, from minor uses of influence and patronage to do and return favours, to institutionalised bribery and beyond. The end-point of political corruption is kleptocracy, literally rule by thieves, where even the external pretence of honesty is abandoned.

Warren Smith strapped on headphones and nestled his coffee cup near a microphone at KTKZ news talk radio. Typically a late riser, the River Cats executive was up early Thursday and in the broadcast booth by 7:54 a.m., the start of a long day of politicking for a proposed downtown arena.

In contrast to the Yes campaign, Sacramentans Against the Arena Tax are running a decentralized and bare-bones campaign. Assemblyman Dave Jones, who's leading the effort, said he has 500 volunteers.

"This is a grass-roots campaign of ordinary Sacramento voters throughout the county," Jones said of his team. "They're doing phone banks and walking door-to-door, telling people this is a bad idea."

Jones said the campaign has no hierarchy coordinating its efforts. However, Jones confirmed that Los Angeles political consultant Parke Skelton, who ran his Assembly race, is part of the team. "He is volunteering to help us with the campaign," Jones said

Stephen J. Kaufman, an attorney for the League of Women Voters of Los Angeles, which supported the City Council's decision to put Proposition R on the ballot in its current form, said it's not uncommon for voters to have split feelings about a measure.

"Sometimes you take the good with the bad," Kaufman said.

Thanks for all the comments. I read all of them. How can you criticize anyone at Mayor Sam, or Zuma Dogg for teaming up?

"ZUMA-YOU HAVE BEEN COMPROMISED."

Dummie, can you wait for my first post before you decide if I've been compromised?

AND, to all the people who trust Zuma Dogg, but maybe not everyone/anyone else. That what my blog, http://zumadogg.blogpspot.com is for.

You can still filter info through there, and now, instead of me just bringing your info to people throught these comments, I'll get to add extra exposure to your time and efforts (the info you share with me) when you want it to go beyond my own blog/comments/emails.

So, I think it's gonna be great. I'll still be posting comments on everyone's stories, as usual...but when neccessary (once, maybe twice a day..sometimes less) this election season, I can turn up the extra heat, and post a story on the front page. Yeah, yeah...
