Good News for Jerry Brown

Democratic Attorney General candidate Jerry Brown is crowing over some bad news for Republican opponent Chuck Poochigian. First the Field Poll came out showing Poochigian down 21 points to Jerry Brown in the race for Attorney General. Next the fundraising numbers came out showing him down by $1.6 million. Well folks, the results from July fundraising are in and they are even worse. Brown is out-fundraising Poochigian by more than a 4 to 1 ratio. In July, Poochigian raised only $42,725.00 from donors of over $5,000.00 – the vast majority ($32,125.00) of which came from the Republican Party. In contrast Jerry Brown posted $196,100.00 for July in over $5,000.00 donations.
