LAUSD District 2 Election Results
The polls have been closed for almost 45 minutes and the City isn't showing a lick of results. I'm not going to sit up with this all night, so if you want to see the latest results, click here and then blog away dum dums.

Unfortunately, we know how this is going to turn out. With all those illegal union contributions - cell phones, vans, office supplies, etc., and with that last minute smear campaign, Monica should take this. It is a shame how Parke Skelton has mastered the deception of the Eastside Latino community. But this won't last. Every dog has his day, just ask Ludlow.
How did Parke go from empowering people of color to totally disenfranchising them. The only way real Latino leaders have a chance is when Parke is out of the way, or in jail.

The first votes counted are the absentee votes and people voted for the liar before they knew what a fraud he was.
He will not maintain that pace through the polling, and Monica should win this one handily.
One more notch in Antonio's gun; one more loss for Pacheco and the family of losers.
Lie to the electorate, lose an election.

Monica will need to get 57% of remainig votes to win.
Does Monica even need to campaign for the run-off? Christopher keeps shooting himself in the foot. What about Lou!? Now she's going to go around saying, "see, the community has spoken." Yeah right! Not sure what kind of movidas she made, but she was out on a clandestine campaign...I heard signs were posted in different areas of the district on election day.
Damn, i'm glad i don't live in L.A. anymore.
But i still vote there.
UTLA should stand down and not waste anymore of their members money on this campaign. They should chock this one up as a lesson learned.
what lesson? Cave into the political movidas of AV and the garcia campaign. On the contrary, they should stand firm and continue to oppose a mayoral take over, which is what Monica really stands for.
Round 2 is the real race. Turn out will be much higher with all the state races. And, on good sources, you can bet UTLA will stick behind Chris.
Monica's only chance was to win it outright last night. She gave it a great try by providing all the information on Chris.
Still, when voters actually see her and hear her debating Chris, you'll see voters move toward Chris.
