Congrats Mayor Sam. Quite an accomplishment in this day and age of blogging. I say before Feb. 4th.
Gee I wonder how much they cost?
Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will attend the Rose Bowl. The mayor's brother, Rob Villar, purchased the tickets for him, according to Darryl Ryan, a mayoral press aide.
Blog, humbug.
That last number that mattered here was the 80 FAKE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH ORGANIZATIONS lied about by one blog moderator, and covered up by another. . . just a matter of weeks, ago.
I rest my case.
January will be slow. I'd say, late February. But come May, traffic will increase tremendously.

I'm guessing March 25th. I know there is a lot that is going to be happening in January and February in town, so March will be the month everyone will still be talking about it all.

The CD 14 AV haters will be back when they find out that Lisa Sarno is the new Assistant General Manager of DONE. They'll be blogging away, even though it will be vicious and mean BS.
But it will push those numbers up.
Then if the neighborhoood council members find the place, they will hit the 400,000 number quickly as they assess what kind of job she'll do. They are already skeptical of the mayor's committment to neighborhood councils. Adding a close staffer as AGM might make some of them pretty angry.
Who cares how much they cost? The mayor of Los Angeles should attend the Rose Bowl.

Greg Nelson saw the Stuckey handwriting on the wall and saved his ass temporarily by hiring the most acerbic, community-handicapping staffer in CD14 to "neighborhood EMPOWERMENT" (that's goes miles beyond "ironic"...)
And, AV found somewhere to park a "loyal" if grossly incompetent lieutenant who could NEVER, nver in a million years get elected to anything on her own steam.
Make that a million decades!
But, Greg, sorry to say. NCs are about to come under heavy scrutiny, you'll take the hit, AV will ditch your ass faster than you can say "no-kill" (you were a Hahn appointee, Nelson... pack your bags).
THAT's the promise AV just made to Lisa. Cool your heels for a few months, while I work up the case to ditch Nelson -- then you'll have your own "ship" to sink.
Heaven help Neighborhood Councils with "Lisa aka "Gabbage Patch" Sarno as assistant. Citywide people will now experience the incompetence, arrogance, laziness and snobby ass attitude she gives everyone she talks with. She's a good for nothing AV left over moron. Definitely NOT a people person and I hope the strong NC's don't put up with her sit.
. . . or her shit, for that matter.
With Sarno there, and Monica Garcia in good position for LAUSD, it's looking more and more like 2006 will be the "year of the fat, bitter, ill-mannered and talent-less female pol" in L.A.

Lisa Sarno is the new Assistant General Manager.
She most recently was the Deputy Chief of Staff for Councilman Antonio Villaraigosa, and then was named the official Caretaker of the office while the office was without a councilmember.
Caretaker my ass. CD 14 staff have done absolutely nothing since AV left. Thanks to Mayor Sam constituents can exercise their 1st ammendment right and post the truth here and other blogs. What would the rest of you do if you had an absentee CM and a moronic staff that got paid to do nothing?
I like Lisa Sarno a lot and I do believe she is a people person.
ONLY disgruntled CD 14ers are bashing her.
Those of us who worked on AV's campaign all have good relationships with her.
Greg Nelson never supported a candidate for mayor. All he did was get hired by Hahn for being the best person for the job.
Wha, wha, what's THIS... an Anonymous AV-lover posting the fatal truth that we ALL KNEW, and no one would admit to... CD14 staff like Lis Sarno WAS working on the AV mayoral campaign on PUBLIC TIME, in violation of all that's ethical and holy!
