Looks like Andres Irlando is late to the game in supporting AV: he supported Becerra in the previous mayor's race.

Sabrina gave money to Huizar at AV's urging so that had to score some points. And, it's nice to see that Freer did not give any direct contributions to AV.

Yeah-Irlando's a twit--he supports whatever way the wind blows. But he's eyeing Gameboy Padilla's seat for City Council against Felipe "the Don" Fuentes, since Irlando's campaign for Lieutenant Governor flopped, so an AV nod there can't hurt. Freer is very good, Woo's a has-been (is he gonna try to run a fourth time after Garcetti is gone?), Hughes and Roschen are well-respected and don't know the others.

What are the qualifications to run for city office, example, city council member?

Do you have to be a high school graduate, citizen/immigrant, college grad, no past criminal offenses, or smart?

There are a few politicians who are not college grads. I have no problem with that, except when they belittle education projects.

Diego Cardoza? The long time Alatorre staffer? Who's really pulling Tony's strings?

Diego is a nice guy but the ultimate YES MAN. He was one of the project directors for the MTA Gold Line and he succumbed to Molina's wishes and took the El Mercadito stop station and moved it to Ramona High School. Only thing is, MTA needs to take half of Ramona's property to make that turn.

This is the kind of Public Planning to expect, policy decided by the whims and tantrums of connected elected officials.

Political vendettas from Molina and Company.

She has gained some serious weight this past year. I thought she would never make in through the office door.

Geeeeez.

Irlando is smart guy w/ plenty credentials. If I recall correctly, his family is pretty politically involved. Look for Montanez, AV & co. step all over Padilla in that 2006 race. Padilla would like you to believe otherwise, but he has it coming to him from the people aforementioned. A deal for a deal.

Irlando is just another one of these resume-padding, holier-than-thou, limousine liberal, look beyond your shoulder at a party to see whose coming in the door, clueless, naive, "I marched with Caesar Chavez", metrosexual, youngsters who is counting the days until his next run for public office.

How'd the campaign for Lt. Governor go there Andres?

Looks like ya bit off a bit more than you could chew

Unlike Irlando, 10:24 is obviously the real deal - especially in light of still not being able to spell Cesar Chavez.

Anon. 12:20, let's play call the resume padders out on their BS organizations.

Here's the challenge: you name one substantive accomplishment that Irlando and his "Cesar Chavez Foundation" (Did I spell it right?) has done.

Crickets chirping.

I think I will start a foundation. I'll call it the JFK and Apple Pie society, "dedicated to preserving the memory of JFK through" blah blah blah.

Sorry dude, it's just BS!
