The latest as we get ready to turn down the sheets...Our friends at Independent Sources, who were quite envious of our past media coverage, have managed to get themselves into the LA Times. Good going guys!
A wannabe blogger is slamming Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim owner Arte Moreno on Craig's List LA's Rants and Raves. Among Arte's alleged transgressions - changing the name of the team and going to strip bars.
Finding the garden section at Target or OSH a little lacking? The Here in Van Nuys blog explores the joys of shopping at the iconic San Fernando Valley horticultural emporium, Green Arrow Nursery in North Hills.
Finally, we've been banned. The blog, Blue Flypaper - the proud voice of liberalism - has added The Sister City to the "Nation's #1 Liberal Blacklist." Among our trangressions are naming our blog after a man who is known for his "anti-communist, anti-Equal Rights Amendment and anti-busing opinions," and for our relentless "...unwarranted attacks on Maxine Waters." We're in good company - we're on the list with Independent Sources and Boi From Troy, among others. (By the way, when you read Blue Flypaper, most of you should be able to figure out the gag.)
