I would be thankful if a blogger can inform me on who to contact if we need street repair and complain about kids crossing a street where there are no lights and can get run over.

How do I find out if a house on my street is used for rehab of child molesters?

Fortunately, the first two can be handled by calling 311 - the City's information system. They actually connect you to a live person. Depending on who your council rep is, I'd simply call them.

Specifically, though:

Street repair - Street Services Division (800) 996-2489.

Street crossing - Dept. of Transportation (213) 485-4184
Definately call the Council Office. DOT sucks!

No such thing as rehab facilities for child molesters. However, registered sex offenders must register and can be found at the following state website:
