Nick showed up and made some very good suggestions how to improve community. Jose was scared out of his mind and stayed at the back of the room. He didn't speak. Cedillo spoke and everyone wanted to know why he was there. Most of the community made some good statements that were well articulated. The ABC 7 management said they didn't know that the community didn't support their Mayor or the CD 14 reps. Many spoke out about how horrible the CD 14 reps are and they are a waste of taxpayer money. Instead of Lisa Sarno being there cause she was invited. They sent Michael CAffey from Eagle Rock. Not one CD 14 rep was in attendance. Now doesn't that say what they think of the community???

Let's see if this gets deleted again. Why is Antonio creating After School Programs in LOUSISANA? LA TIMES today, Calif. Section. We need them here in LA with all the gang violence. The Community Deve. Agency is also setting aside $300,000 for more housing for about 5,000 evacuees coming to LA. We are in debt about $300 million and Antonio keeps spending money like water. Why didn't the taxpayers have a say in all this money he's spending? How much is the gala El Grito costing us that's going on Today and Tomorrow at city hall?

The only accomplishments Antonio can name is now he's going to fill 35,000 potholes and he's having a citywide community clean up. Great, residents are picking up brooms with the lack of leadership with this mayor.

Huizar looked tired and worn out at the event. He looked as if he was already beat. He was there alone, a big no no for candidates. And he didn't want any part of the event, preferring to hide in the shadows. And the real campaign hasn't even started! What will he look like when the hits start arriving on LAUSD's purchase of his sisters house, his illegal garage, his questionable city permits and Skelton's private cul de sac/former public street.

How sad. CD 14 reps Lisa, Monica, and Jennie feel they are too high class to hang around the CD 14 crowd. Que Pena.

Is Villaraigosa getting chummy with Pacheco. Does this mean they will get along? I am still voting for Pacheco, but this would be MAV's smartest move.

LAVC EVENT WITH KERRY VILLARAIGOSA AND THE CHIEF HIMSELF-MICHAEL TRUJILLO

Villaraigosa volunteer advance man Michael Trujillo dug into his pocket recently to keep Hahn supporters hot and thirsty at a Los Angeles Valley College rally on a warm Saturday afternoon.

The event was for Villaraigosa to get an endorsement from Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass.

But, when about 50 chanting Hahn demonstrators showed up, there was a visible angst among the councilman's supporters.

Rather than engage in the group handwringing, Trujillo took action.

Spotting a nearby vendor who was being surrounded by the Hahn supporters, Trujillo paid $300 to buy all the water and soda the vendor had available.

"It was hot out," Trujillo said. "I figured it was better off going to our people."

The Villaraigosa campaign also stalled the start of the event and then had almost every elected official on hand make remarks until the Hahn demonstrators tired and left the event

Well The honorable Senator Cedillo showed up. What words wisdom did he share with his neighboors? Did he pass out REAL ID applications? and a few voter registration cards?
