I'm back, can't resist the topic unfortunately.
It looks dismal for Huizar, the campaign will be difficult for both candidates, it may be best for A.V. to put his collectible marbles on the other sack instead of Huizar.
Huizar has too much baggage. As we speak Parke Skelton's working heavily to hide much of it. Problem is, you can't hide the truth. The truth will hurt Huizar, what a shame. If only he did some work during his tenure, but he chose other temptations of life.

I heard from a senior that Antonio's office is calling seniors in CD14 asking them if they would put a Little Jose Huizar lawn sign in their yard. Ethics violation. Poor seniors don't know what to tell them.
Llittle Jose is toast. As soon as the debates start people will see for themselves he doesn't have a clue what's been going on in the district. He's left LAUSD a total mess and doesn't have any accomplishments to speak of accept telling people he's building schools. Yeah, right Jose while students are dropping out at record rates.

It must be the LA32 crew of Alvin Parra. Don't they have the meetings the first Wednesday of the month at the Senior Citizen's Center? It is deplorable if he is using this place to push these important constituents into putting signs.

Mayor Sam you should look into this. I put a search for Nick Pacheco and it comes out to this link and when I click on it it turns out to be Villaraigosa's page. Is Villaraigosa hijacking his name?

I was at the TERA Open House the other night and after listening to the guest speaker, Laura Chick(great speaker), I got a chance to speak with Jose Huizar. Despite what Pacheco's blogging team says, I found him very down to earth and educated on the issues I hold dear here in Eagle Rock.
At first I was surprised that Pacheco wasn't at the TERA Open House, but then I remembered that he truly screwed TERA and would never show his face with the group. Just shows Pacheco's true nature. He'll hang out with those he likes and not reach out to those he doesn't. He's not a person I want as a Councilman. He's not inclusive, rather divisive. It showed the other night when he didn't have the backbone to be at our event when at least 4 other candidates were. I know he doesn't have the nerve to reach out to TERA and our 2,000 strong membership after the screwing he gave us 2 years ago.

Michael Tharp does not agree with your perception of Nick Pacheco
Why do you think Laura chickedoodoo was at the meetings...you guys need to do more inclusive research than biased ones. Laura was in attendance at the meeting as a favor to our Mayor and to hold Huizar's hand so he won't get scared and look pretty.
Huizar comes across like a nice guy, but did this nice guy think of the kids when he stalled the process for Meruelo to buy the land from under LAUSD. Did this nice guy think about the toxic dangers of Belmont, or the no bidding competition for Belmont, Taylor yard, awful dropout rates?

Nick is also a nice guy. So let's see. Which one of the two nice guys will I pick, you should know by now.
Jose Huizar was not scheduled to be at that meeting, no candidate was invited.
What happened is Laura Chick and AV organized it so Huizar would be there, that is the inclusion, backstabbing appearances.

We are still waiting for a qualified candidate to show up and run for office. My only alternative is to take my mucho tax dollars to another city and away from Los Angeles. Proposal Calls For Eight Smaller Schools
Steve Barr, the founder of Green Dot Public Schools, wants to assume control of the under-performing South Los Angeles campus.
If he succeeds in selling the idea to teachers and the Los Angeles Unified School District board, it would be the first time an outside company has taken over an existing LAUSD campus.
Los Angeles Unified School District board President Marlene Canter said she has met with Barr and discussed his ideas.

The president of the teachers union flatly dismissed Barr's plan.
"I'm not in favor of charters," A.J. Duffy, president of United Teachers Los Angeles, told the Los Angeles Times. "As far as I'm concerned, they are just private schools in a different suit or a fancy dress."
State charter school laws require Barr to gather signatures from at least half of Jefferson's permanent teachers before he can petition the school board to convert the school.
Barr told The Times he would begin soliciting teachers immediately, but Duffy told the newspaper he planned to meet with faculty members Thursday to encourage them not to support the charter plan.

My point is Pacheco is eager to be at almost everything until it comes to a TERA open house. He knows the 2,000 plus of TERA absolutely despise him. He screwed our community with the Walgreens development. He incited division with the Phillipine Village issue. (there was no issue before he decided that he unilateraly segregate our comfortably diverse neighborhood). And on top of that, he never did anything about the chronic drug and homeless areas on Figueroa. Thankfully these places are fixed now!
And you, Anon 9:32, why do you think Laura Chick was the guest of honor at our meeting. Uh duh...she was invited! She's a city wide elected official doing great work! Its an honor to have her in our corner of this huge megopolis called LA. Wesson will basically win the election because;
1) the press hasn't mentioned CD10 race and thus lowers voter turnout for the other folks in the race.
2)The same press is sucking AV's cock and focusing on getting Huizar elected.
Now 'Villain'raigosa Machine of LA will officially begin because they'll sit on the Ethics Committee, which means they'll cover up all of AV's lies and corruption because they head the committee that specializes in that.
