Fleishman Time Bomb Keeps Ticking
According to AP:
A former public relations executive pleaded guilty Monday to fraud charges for billing the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power tens of thousands of dollars for work that was never done.Steven Sugerman is one of three former employees in the Los Angeles office of Fleishman-Hillard to face federal charges in the bogus-billing scheme. Last month Sugerman agreed to plead guilty to three counts of wire fraud for his part in a scam that prosecutors say cheated the DWP out of more than $300,000 over several years.
"Ultimately, the hours were increased on the worksheets  on the billing records that were sent to the client," Sugerman, 41, told U.S. District Judge Gary Feess.
As part of his agreement with prosecutors, Sugerman agreed to cooperate in other cases, meaning he could be called to testify against his former supervisor, Douglas Dowie.Court papers allege that Sugerman altered bills "in accordance with Dowie's general directions."

Who wants to bet on how long it takes Stodder to figure this out?
As we all know, Doug Dowie is a stubborn man.
Time wounds all heels.
What does "under general direction" mean? Dowie is stubborn and also an ex Marine who isn't going to go down without a fight. Everyone should know that he passed a polygraph. Everyone who has ever worked with Sugerman knows that he is both frenetic and disorganized. I think he is looking to cover his ass by blaming Dowie
The cast of characters in this drama is huge, stretching from the LA Times to the City Council. Stay tuned.
When are Hilary Norton Orozco and Fred Muir going to surface? Their fingerprints have to be all over this stuff

Doug is alot of things!, but a thief? not for money. he has gotten far and very rich the hard way. He desires fame and power but is to smart to get caught up in something that will leave a trail to be nailed!
